I did not apply for a visit visa, it’s clearly shown on my vignettes that I’m a dependant

September 11- BRP details was sent to my mail . I was expecting mail from TLS for pick up for close to 2 weeks but no mail. So I felt since my BRP details was already sent to me and I didn’t go through the normal process, let me risk going to TLS to check it myself.

September 21- I finally picked my passport with New visa issued.

It wasn’t an easy journey but God came through for me.

A big congratulations to you.. You mean after collecting your brp letter, they never sent you pick up mail. So you felt like going to TLS with faith and your passport was there?.
Did you in anyway tracked it before going to tls? And which TLS?

Have some schools stopped taking deposits for January 2023? I deferred to January 2023 at keele university. I started the process of paying the full tuition but yet to be debited for form A. Only for me to just visit their website just to know more about the school and I saw that they have stopped deposit for January 2023. I called and sent emails and no reply. Should I cancel the form A? I was relaxed about the form A because I thought I had extra time seeing as it is January intake

Hello

In general,you are allowed to drive up to a year with your Nigerian driver's license.

Student jobs in the UK are vast and if you are lucky to get a job that requires driving that's fine.However some company may insist on only UK license.

The bigger question is if you have experience driving right hand and your knowledge of UK road signs and rules.
If you have zero idea about this , then try to avoid using your Nigerian license here and endeavour to follow the process in getting a UK license when you are settled

Don't forget you have to also factor additional cost such as Tax, Car Insurance and MOT

In summary,it depends on these and many more factors and ultimately your decision

After several calls and mails, I received my brp letter on 20th September indicating that decision was made on 12 September.

But up till now I haven't received any collection mail plus my tracker is still showing that my application is still with DMC.

NB: where I live is very far away from Lagos.

Contact them immediately on this and provide your flight details.

Their refund policy will explain what and how the process is and how long it will take.

My advice, look out for another airline incase airmaroc can't reschedule a new flight soon or can't refund immediately
