I think it is a wrong decision if u don't have anyone in Lagos. Even if u have eye in working in big firms, what are the chances u going to get employed? I will suggest u set up something with that money in your present location and build up yourself gradually, while u apply for ur desired jobs online. If any of your job application click, then u can relocate to lag. But relocating to lag on your own will drain that money & before u know it u will return back to your present location with 0 naira.

My brother, this is the best advise I have read so far, why not invest the money in a business in the city where u currently are, and multiply the money, while u apply online for jobs probably in Lagos and Abuja.

I currently reside in Abuja, I finished service 2019, I was staying with my uncle until, he ask me to leave that I was becoming lazy about Job hunting. Bro, it's not easy to get job this days oo, unless u are very sure that u will cope, even with any kind of job that comes.

I know what I went through, job hunting, the frustration that came with it, before I got the job I'm doing, please pray well, be lead before u move.

The worst mistake you will do is going to Lagos to start looking for job, except you have an assured job and accommodation for a start.

By the time you realize whatsup, you won't have spent most of the money on job search.

I am telling you this from experience.

If you have any business idea you want to venture, start working towards it diligently.

I moved to Lagos after my NYSC with about 300k some years ago. Bro, I left Lagos years later with almost same amount to venture into my present business which I would have started earlier if I had someone to guide me.

Please move to your state capital and sort accomodation look for Small physical hustle that will cover feeding and upkeep and then focus on learning tech skills long term

Bruh accommodation is cheap here in sango not far from iyana ipaja down to ikeja , 120k will get you a nice apartment here with stable electricity Lagos is overrated bruh

Big 4 audit firms, management consulting firms, investment banking firms and oil and gas firms are concentrated in Lagos, when I get into them I will start processing my japa dream having gained experience in them. You see why I want to go there now....

Lots of "graduates" have d cert but in reality the level of their thoughts is nothing to right home about. This is not an insult but for you to graduate, regardless of the conditions here, it's enough to make them wise.

The only thing I will advice you is to try and rent house in the center of Lagos because most of the firm you are aiming for are located in VI, lekki, ikoyi.

I don't know your course of study, however irrespective of where you would be working, transportation and house rent would deal with you.

Know how you go package yourself in that area. I would give you an example with my bro.

He earns 70k and works At GT, Wetin dey save am be say him no dey pay rent and his office is at yaba. He was aspiring to work for PWC, after he went there and spent almost 2500 on Tf no be person advice am make he comot eyes, besides his current place, he works 3days in the office and 2 days at home.


So prepare well for the downtime you might have if you don't get a job on-time
