Hello NLs,

Happy Sunday! Just a word of advice, if you’re using a representative always double check that they submit all your documents. I just received my GCMS notes. I’m just getting it now after I’ve received PPR. This was one of the notes made. It seems my agent didn’t put in my passport lol. Thank God all the same, it ended in praise!

congratulations to all recent ppr holders and my heart goes out to those denied, it is not the end... Brace up, re-strategize and refire, whatever will work for you just DO IT! wether Canada or UK, let there be a plan!

So my application has passed the 13 weeks normal processing time, I got my notes few weeks back and the VO pointed out that my proof of income was NOT PROVIDED, can Y'all imagine Me that included my business registration, MBS, savings account, transaction receipt from my clients etc.

Anyways, to address the issue, I re-uploaded all proof of my income again via webform and emails. I kept resending the mails and webform like every week.
It's been 2 weeks now and no response from IRCC as to whether they have received the documents or not.
Please what's the next step I should take? If I say I am not completely drained by the wait then I'm lying, I'm just rolling on 1% battery life honestly. The anxiety has eaten deep inside of me and I pray it doesn't get worse , please all I will appreciate any advice and steps to take. The stress is too much.

Yes. They said they didn't get the medical examination result,

I thought you were adviced to send a reconsideration mail to IRCC attaching your medicals or is their any reason why you don't want to do that .
Well if Medicals is the only reason for the refusal I will advice you get in touch with anyone who is good with writing sop both of you should compose a reconsideration mail to IRCC , showing them screenshot of mail you sent them with your medical , showing mail you sent to IOM with their reply that they have already sent it to IRCC and then attaching the medicals again , appeal to them to reconsider as you have done all they asked you to do and you cant explain why for some reasons they didn't receive it before their decision , send this as a webform and as email to all IRCC address you can get quoting you Uci nos am sure if Medicals is the only reason they will reconsider except maybe their is another thing

A lot of people are saying that UK visa is easier, but is there a drawback from UK being so easy?

Thermodynamics:
Hello, I'm planning to apply to a school that cost around 13000 cad, I plan to work to pay for my tuition fees and as well take care of my feeding and accomodation.
My sponsor will take care of my feeding and accommodation for the first 3 months, after that, I'm on my own. Is this possible?

Also what are the chances of switching to another college once I arrive in Canada.

It is very risky. International students usually get the minimum wage and are restricted to working for 20 hours a week. I don't recommend it.

People used to switch but there is a new law that bans it. I don't know how strict Canada is about it yet though because it's still new.

This is not easy waiting for good news , but you said your notes states that proof of Income not provided , well if you can I will suggest that you write an LOE explaining the full detail of the type of business you do to get the income after the explanation you now indicate that you attached some proofs of this income that's the receipt to justify this incomes because it's not enough to show account statement and then show receipt without due explanations as per how the business runs to generate such income and this sometimes may happen when the income is assumed to be bigger than the business .
Good luck wishing you the best of outcome

If only they know how much they’ve lost to UK in tuition fees & visa application fees.
Daft country

Ocool:

All I can say about my experience since I joined this league of japa to Canada is that Canada is highly inefficient in visa processing. It doesn't make sense no matter any explanation anyone wants to give to defend their inefficiency.

What does it cost them to have a visa processing office in Nigeria instead of taking the applications of a big country like Nigeria to a relatively small country like Kenya? That is disrespectful because they have embassies/high commissions in Abuja and Lagos where they can handle those applications. I think there is a need to petition the Nigerian government to call them to order. If they don't listen, they can employ a retaliatory measure against them like they did to UAE about Air Peace Airline.

The day I went to do my medical at the IOM Abuja, the number of UK applicants I saw there was close to 20 times the number of Canada applicants. Upon that, UK still has the capacity to grant you a visa within 24 hours if you use their Super Priority application.
. So, why is Canada taking unreasonable of months to process a visa? Honestly, it is uncomosensical.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bepositive11: 11:55am On Sep 25, 2022
Is there a reason why you initially decided to apply for Canada instead of the UK?

Ocool:

Wow! I also suggested UK before reading this. I think I will have to try the UK next if I am refused.

My friend that we started this thing together this year's August got his UK visa within 4 days using their priority application. He travelled just this last Thursday. What makes UK even easier and better is that there are some job his wife can easily get in the UK that will entitle her to a 5 year work permit. After 3 years, she will get indefinite to remain and then permanent residence in the 5th year. So, I've been asking why all these unnecessary stress about Canada since everything is about the same Japa.

Seriously. If they're going to reject, they should reject soon instead of unnecessarily dragging the application for months. It's very frustrating.

Letuspraytogod:
You understand the whole scope my bro!
I feel like we all need to stop deceiving ourselves. That’s why I had to correct this person the other time talking about passion.
Passion for what? You be patriotic citizen?

And the other guy is talking about Pgwp after graduation! Nobody is asking her to stay in the UK after graduation!
She can re-apply to canada before she’s done and I’m sure they’d give it to her and she can still achieve her aim and goals.

Refusal isn’t the problem tbh. The problem is IF YOU WANT TO REFUSE SOMEONE, refuse them when their application is 1-2 months let them know their faith immediately; which one is refusing someone after waitin 4,5,6,7,8 months upwards, what kind of daft decision is this.

And them say oyinbo get sense mtcheww

Few weeks back, someone here said they got refusal because of this same kind of issue. It's difficult to tell where the fault came from.

My question is, did you at any point submit your E-Medical sheet during the course of your application? That sheet they gave you to take home after your medicals.

I understand the frustration but I think Canada prefers quality over quantity. There are particular kinds of people they're looking for. I won't say that they're daft.

But now I I think I will jump into the thread and start asking questions. My application is 16 weeks old only eligibility has started. I feel frustrated I swear, especially when I saw charitole James refusal.

Probability is high ..of not getting a job in field of study after graduation!!
So might need to consider what to study!!!
You must have plan B in UK when studying or else..

This is laughable, which quality over quantity do you mean? Most of the people relocating to the Uk have their first degrees and are going for masters so what is the difference between them and those going into Canada for their masters?

If you follow the immigration news for Canada you’ll know Canada is short-staffed immigration-wise and also just trying to develop new and better policies to make things faster. This whole influx is what Canada wants but they haven’t been able to handle it well, you can’t compare Canada with the Uk and the USA in terms of advanced immigration policies please this is not a hidden fact although geographically the UK is smaller.
As I’ll always say Canada and the USA are neighbours but cannot be compared in terms of everything.

You don't understand why I'm saying. If they're so desperate, why are they issuing so many refusals study permit? There are particular kinds of candidates that they're looking for, and for them PPR comes easy. For others, PPR is hard to come by.
