I totally agree with you. Before a bird will lay an egg, both the bird and her mate will first build a nest.
God expect us to be wiser than birds by first building a structure that will sustain our children before bringing them to this world.
However what I am against is we Africans adopting the cultures of Europe and America as Biblical standards.
If we continue with that mentality, one day our kids will accept gay marriage and other abominable acts in Europe and America.

For sometime now, there is growing number of Africans losing faith in theoretical Christianity, followed by increasing number of reluctance towards traditional believe in marriage institution. Many comments on this thread about artificial insemination is proof. Very soon the trend will spread to child birth. These are just the unstoppable stages in our evolutional development.
My suggestion is that people review their conservative interpretations of the Bible. It’s clear a lot of people are finding it unrealistic

Artificial insemination is like a woman buying a mango seed and planting it in her farm. Adoption is like a woman buying a mango friut instead of the seed.

Artificial insemination is an imitation of the Spiritual insemination of Mary by the Holy Spirit. It is not a sin if it is done with good motives.
If you do not believe in menopause, then marry a 60 years old woman and wait for her to have a child for you.

Why not? If they had the knowledge and technology for Abraham to impregnate her, it is not wrong. But we trust God who makes all things work for good and makes their story a lesson. It is a lesson, not a limitation. It is like saying a woman must give birth naturally to show faith and never do a Caesarean Section since it's not in the Bible. The Word of God is not a shackle like the pharisees tried to make it.
Why do we artificially plant seeds and not just wait for natural processes?

Adoption is like someone buying an orange friut while Articifial insemination is like someone buying a seed of orange to plant in her farm.
Hence both adoption and articifial insemination have the same objectives.
However Articifial Insemination has the advantage of creating a bond between the mother and child and also preventing the child from been ridicule as an adopted child by the society.
a child is not a seed of mango you can just chose to plant.
Artificial insemination is taking the seed of a man that is not your husband to make babies in adoption does not involve making babies.

You see the difference?

What is destroying the world is sin, everyone wants to make rules for themselves.

The age of the scroll is 300BCE-1CE. There is no event of 300BCE captured in the Old Testament. The book of First and Second Maccabee, which didn’t even make it into the Bible is events that took place 500BCE. So, Dead Sea Scroll is a copy, which got hidden. It doesn’t mean it was the only copy at d time. Copies of copies of copies had to be made all the time b4 printing press came. So our Bible today was from other copy which is not DSS. And DSS itself is a copy
