It is a well known fact that some posts on this site are not based on common sense, but rather, people are commenting based on their biases.

Sensible people in Nigeria know that when a seaport is built, a naval base is also built in order to protect the vessels and facilities that are associated with the port. They also know that most airports in Nigeria have an air force wing for similar reasons.

Even if we want to pretend that they are not so smart, at least they should have learned from the subsequent posts on this thread. The second and third posts refer to the dredging of the river and the siting of a gas industrial park.

But let's just pretend that they are not smart enough and that they really mean what they post.
