Good morning house, I have an expired UK 6 months UK visit visa, I just thought of it if I could apply for a 5 yrs instead of a 2 yrs I don't know if anyone is lucky enough to achieve that, or is it a prerequisite one must apply accordingly. I will appreciate your suggestions and advice.

Thanks

No it isn't. The ECO determines that, regardless what duration you apply for.

Good morning guys. Please has any one experienced any delays with the Priority UK visitor’s visa?
Did my biometrics on the 13th of September at Abuja TLS and it has been at the DMC ever since. Is this a thing now?

I believe the rule is:
If your visa application is submitted before the COS document's expiration date, then your COS is regarded as valid.

"Where available, Priority and Super Priority Visas will be displayed when you book your appointment. Where appointments are showing as unavailable this means that the weekly number of appointments has been taken.

Further Priority Visa appointments will be released once a week. All new Priority Visa appointments will be released at the same time each week."

The statement above was culled from the UK Visa website.

Please who has an idea of the day of the week new Priority visa appointments are usually released?

Hello house,

Can I submit a visitor’s visa application for my mum without payslips please? She works with a private business company and has a bank statement showing her earnings. But the company does not issue payslips.
Would I need to generate one myself for her?

I paid someone to help me get biometric date.
Then I paid for priority on the portal...

oluwashaun:
I didn't pay for any of that..
After my contact got me a date for biometrics (self service) I then booked priority service myself for the both of them it was pretty straightforward

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by oluwashaun(m): 10:02am On Sep 29, 2022
My mum did biometrics on Wednesday 21st September for UK visit visa (Priority).

Transferred to VAC Monday 26th
Collection mail Wednesday 28th...

No rejection mail... But haven't collected passport..

Please does this mean its approved?

Urgent

Is there something to be worried about?

Good day everyone, I have been following everything here but I have a question. I did biometric on the 27th July in Abuja for a 10yrs visa renewal. I sent a paid mail yesterday and got this response: I dont understand because I paid for 10years visa and this mail is telling me 3months. Has anyone experienced this before.....

Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, our records indicate a decision has been made on your application. We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone.

If your visa has been granted, a visa vignette (sticker) will be stuck inside your passport with 3 months validity (from the start of your visa) to travel.

You will be contacted by VFS/TLS when your passport is ready for collection, or delivery of your passport.

Please do not attend the VAC until you have been contacted as you won’t be able to collect your passport until it is ready.

Regards,

Ayan
