get ortival top or blue snow, spray at 15ml per 16lit in the evening, maximum time you can spray it once in two weeks but I will advise once in three weeks, if you spray it too much or over dosage, it will burn your plant!

I always advise you spray the farm land insecticide before you transplant or spray low dosage insecticide after you transplant. Spray insecticide sir.

I took tomato to market this morning, everywhere was soak with crates, fortunately people were also trooping in to buy at 8k highest I sold mine own 7k ASAP to those that want to resell because anything can happen.

1. go through my tomato playlist on my channel you will see it there 2. It depend on foliage and weather 3. It has many reasons like; it help reduce diseases spread, airflow, help plant to concentrate nutrients toward fruiting e.t.c

It's very hard to run tomatoes without drip tapes, but Good Luck to you

i think it still a bit doable a when the farming is on a small scale, watering it is a bit easier and rain has been consistent this days,infact there has been more rainy days than sunny days since transplanting...those with drip tapes have had their tapes useless for some weeks now..i hope i will be able to afford drip tapes and layflat from proceeds of this harvest...thank you

Amen! Why do you plant two seedlings in one spot. Honestly! It is risk growing tomato or cucumber commercially without irrigation system in place. You maybe lucky but don't try it again! If it is for personal consumption it make sense but for selling, I will never try it.

How is the diva compared to platinum based on number of fruits, colour, sizes, and disease resistance

3. Your ridges may be too low which allow flood to partially or fully submerge the length of your seedlings. Flood is no tomato's friend. Also watch out for lowland/potholes that can harbour stagnant water beside your crop during rainfall.
4. How often do u spray insecticide and fungicide?
5. Tell us the name of the cultivar you planted. I pity our opv tomato brother in this current weather in the south.

Please, How many stands can sit on a 6 plots (acre) of land. And how many crates can you get from it

This is obviously the work of nematodes
You might’ve applied from the beginning but your farm looks too weedy which allows for several disease infection.

Try and weed first, this one wey you no irrigate too, hope you know the rain is really not consistent again

thanks for the reply boss, first of, i am a first time farmer and this is my pilot project..all i know about tomato farming,i learnt from this thread and watching farmer akinloye videos on youtube.
1) initially i planted just one seedling per spot but after transplanting i still have a lot of seedlings on the bed so i was convinced by some people to go ahead and double it,obviously that was my first mistake.
2) the weeds too are there because of the incessant rain fall, i have contracted someone to clear the weed but its been raining everyday..
3) there is no flood at all on the farm land,its actually compound ,it just happen to be a very big one,but there has never been insident of flooding.
4)i spary every 7 daysi have sprayed just 3 times,the tomatoes are just 26day old after transplanting(23 day in nursery)..i am using saaf, cabri duo and jumper d
5)the cultivar is royal bold f1 from harvest field...

please with your last statement are u suggesting it could be too much water?
