Physical abuse doesn't just appear from no where, it's a continuation of other form of abuses in relationships and marriage. You can't possibly draw the line at Physical abuse when ignoring the abuses that lead to it. It starts with emotional abuse, depriving your partner of your space and presence, we heard Segun threaten Bella with this. He said and I quote, "if we were outside, you wouldn't try this shiit with me because I'd ghost you, not break up ooo, I'll ignore you". Emotional abuse is a tool to weaken the resolve of a partner and bend or change them into doing tour biddings.


When abusers don't succeed with emotional abuse, they proceed to verbal abuse. Verbal abuse is a tool used in ridiculing, demeaning, manipulating, bullying and controlling one's partner, we heard and watched how well Segun used this in just 9 weeks of meeting the love of his life. Most of the time, abusers get the job of intimidating and subduing their partners at this point done because their partners would rather not get on the bad side of the abusive lovers and bam! They're tamed.

For the abusers that don't get what they want with verbal abuse, they proceed with the very popular and widely "accepted form" of abuse, physical abuse. There isn't much to say here, we all see the result of physical abuse, often times, it ends with obituaries. With no solid rebutting from Segun, Bemi's video is a proof of how horrible this man can get.


No one hates Segun, I mean, I don't. If he learns from this, he'd be a better man for it and will go on to have a beautiful relationship or marriage. I'll get loads of yumyum from that , so, I'm for it . But would he know the gravity of his actions if we don't call him out? How would he know he needs help if we keep cuddling him. He's 27 in few months, he isn't a child, his mates are raising families, so, while I agree that he has enough years to unlearn and grow, his age will not be a ground for excusing his abusive patterns.
