Very thoughtful of the Ghanian Government. We once had a Governor of a State in Nigeria who transformed the Secondary Schools in the State and equipped them with necessary technologies.

Few years later, the Pupils from that State started producing the best result in WAEC across the nation, and as well won many competitions locally and internationally.

He's one of our presidential candidates, I'm sure when he wins, he'll transform and build better STEM Schools across the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT.

Ours will be dedicated to failing student in those areas. That's how Nigeria works.

At the end of the day, a third class from UI goes to UK and earns a first class then we conclude that is the general pattern, therefore we have too many sharp minds but are held back by the white man who doesn't want us to prosper.

Exactly. The content is everything. Before private universities rose up in Nigeria, the emphasis when undergraduates are debating privately used to be about school size. Ui vs OAU, who has more land and badest chicks and sharpest guys? Everything isn't about size.

I didn't say they don't travel to other countries..


Those are few elite, what i know is that majority of Ghanaian are poor to school in neighbouring countries.


Nigerian schooling in Ghana and other African countries are not even children of elite.

Secondary school education should be the burden of state governments while primary should be that of LGs, not federal government. Federal should focus on tertiary education comprising of unis, polys, and COEs, etc.
