I applied for a Uk Dependant visa after 8weeks and 4 days, I received a letter yesterday that my application was refused based on this 2 grounds that (1) the documents I presented doesn't demonstrate that I am in possession of the required level of funds (2) they stated that I submitted my bank statement from a micro finance bank , and all attempts by the ukvi office to verify the document was proven abortive the results have returned inconclusive as they are unable to contact the financial institution.. What is so funny about this decision is that my spouse used the same micro finance bank and her visa was granted.. I want to reapplied again in few days, I need help abeg.. make una help a brother

hi Joyful, how did you apply to the EU settlement scheme after arriving in the uk? I'm trying to apply to the scheme but I don't know how to go about it
JoyfulA:
No mine was spouse visa
Under EU settlement scheme family permit and travel permit.

And English test was not a requirement.
It’s a free Visa you don’t have to pay any fee
As far as your spouse is a citizen under Eu and ur applying for this type of visa it’s free

[quote author=dalourde post=110730698]Good day house, it’s been a while…
I joined my husband in the UK sometime in November 2020 (all thanks to this wonderful forum). I am planning to apply for my daughter (17 years) to join me in the UK and just wanted to know all the documents that I need for the application.
PS: my husband is not her father, had her when I was a teenager. Also, she bears my last name although her father’s name is on her birth certificate.
Please advice on a way to go about this. Thanks in advance.

Update... I applied for my daughter's visa on 31st of March
Bio: 14th April
Picked up passport with vignette today (1st Oct).
Thanks to everyone that has contributed in one way or the other

It means they have concluded your application, why don’t you check tls to see if your passport is sitting there.

You can try going there to see if it’s with tls, take your collection slip with you, don’t explain anything to anyone, just show your collection slip at the gate and enter or you can wait for one more week to see if tls would send an email.
The online tracker doesn’t change sometimes, mine changed when I picked up my passport.
