If I want to speak like typical obituary, I would say they are paid interviewees but no, it's not they spoke with open minds and as northerners . Come do the same interview in the SW and have a new reality. The fact that the choices even splitted among Konkwoso and Obi with majority opting for Atiku on some senseless bases says it all. 2023 election will be based on the calculations which APC were cunning enough to recognised and worked accordingly except for the fact that Shettima isn't from core north like Kano, Katsina etc. It's obvious, votes will still be based on tribes and religion sentimentality we are known for. Someone based his support for Obi on his performance as a governor not knowng that Tinubu remain the best governor Nigeria has had in rescent times. Well, the real deal still remains the main general election. May God spare our lives.

that said, you cannot go to festac or Amuwo and take a poll and think it reflects the will of Lagosians...if you go to Alimosho your poll results will be very different. So you cant ask educated urbane people on the street in a state where most people are uneducated and think it reflects the view of the people.

The election is very simple, Peter Obi will win SS and SE by wide margin, he will get a good chunk in the SW and NC and will get 25% in NE and NW. Tinubu will win the SW but not enough margin, no hope in the SS and SE, a good margin in the NW, NE and 25% in NC, Atiku will win NW and NE but will share it with kwankwaso. He might get up to 25% in SS, no hope in SW.

Atiku will come third if Kwankwaso do not align with him, Tinubu and Peter Obi might have a run off but in all, the odds still favours Peter Obi but the election is APC's to loose

I will keep saying it that shettima, though from minority in borno (kanuri), kwankwaso and atiku will divide the northern votes, PO will get as much as 40% from north and from the west he can be able to get 60% of votes. Then come to the south south, its definitely going to be a block vote for PO. Southeast is no go area, its gonna be a field day for him, 101% votes for him.
