I think you need to show ur doctor d result, grade3 placenta means d placenta is old and calcified.....And I think it's still too early for that, it should be around 38weeks or so

I was placed basically on bed rest till when I'm due. my question, is they anything else I can do to stop the draining? ( though, I. was placed on antibiotics) people kept saying that it's dangerous to put to birth by the 8th month. but Google is saying otherwise. I really need encouragement

Babe don't let people put fear in ur mind o, just continue with your bed rest, take ur drugs and drink plenty water....Let hope and pray baby will stay till 38weekks ....You are in my prayers teamie

In the absence of infection and fetal distress, doctors will rather delay your delivery if you are below 37 weeks old. They do this for the baby to grow well. But, if there's infection or threat to the baby, they'll quickly do the delivery. So, work closely with your doctor. Draining of amniotic fluid is a serious case. If they're not giving you satisfactory feedback, go to another hospital ASAP. All the best mama.

Hi mama, sorry about the situation. God is in control. Babies born from 34 weeks to 37 weeks do very well and only a few of them needs a short term NICU stay.

These are what you should be concerned about:

1. Does your hospital have a neonatal unit in case baby has to come a bit early?

2. Are there doctors always available in case you need to do an emergency CS or an elective one?

. no neonatal unit here ooooo. the last time I have such experience was 5 years ago, and I was referred to a different state. though, I had CS. the baby was 27 weeks old. I was pregnant again in 2019, the baby reach full term and was normal delivery. in this pregnancy, I was so careful, hubby helping with chores but I don't know what is happening

I'll say look for an hospital around who has such unit just to be prepared or find out if the hospital they will refer you to is nearby. I pray baby stays until 38/39 weeks. Don't worry, rest well and use your medications. Also, drink enough water and do regular scan to check up on the level of amniotic fluid.

Sorry dearie. Let them check well if the quantity of amniotic fluid remaining is enough to sustain the baby. If not,then i will advise cs unfortunately. 33+ weeks baby usually does well. Some might not even need incubator.
But if everything is ok,then pls remain on bed rest till at least 37 and u can be induced. All the best dear

I finally finished washing all baby stuff yesterday, will start arranging baby wardrobe this weekend, house cleaning, washing and mopping will follow soon...No maternity leave cos I really want to work till delivery,maybe it will me fall into labour naturally this time around cos I be team 41weeks+ induction.
The Lord of the Hebrew will make me smile and rejoice at the end... Can't wait to see my Mum's reaction when we inform her I put to bed as we no kuku tell anybody, imagine her calling always and pray for babyD to become a big sis soon.
