Some of this experiences applied to me.. I have a 9am-6pm job. I have done 5500 already this morning and i will do another 5k later in the evening IF I WANT TO... when the fire was really burning, i dey do am steady but at a time i got hooked up with a lady that wanted me to pick her everyday after work (she paid well) and because i enjoyed her company and we gist almost about everything, i got distracted. Once i drop her, i enter house sleep. Lol In essence, if wetin dey pursue you dey BIG enough, there is no limit to what you can achieve. If others cant do it, pls PUSH ENOUGH, you CAN! 8 Likes

CheerfulGiver: Where I work presently, promotions are considered for staff every 3 years That’s after 36 months oh (that’s if they didn’t funk you up with internal office power tussles) , and na small N50k dem go add join my salary A fresh graduate with his own vehicle can save so much within that space of time, while I’m spending the same amount of time for the extra N50k that the graduate can earn under a week driving on ehailing In fact let me stop talking . . . dapotemi: Brother no need to tell them. There’s cheerful up there, a human being with only one head posting daily dashboards of N30k and yet some people are saying that nobody can do or sustain it. How can you project your own doings on another individual when una no be twins from the same belle? Even twins self dey do pass theirselves once in a while lol. But for real, some people believe cheerful is a spirit or diety for him to be so confident in netting such an amount daily while try as they might . . . LU LE Sha I don’t blame them, not everyone is extra hardworking and have the kind of body system that can sustain rigorous working conditions and long hours. 5 Likes |

ReadaDream: The main issue with this hustle and it’s effects on your vehicle should be mainly the depreciation of your suspension components due to the terrible road conditions in the country. Oyibo use their vehicles for taxi and put roughly 30-40k miles on their odometers a month and still sell such vehicles to us here as tokumbos. It all boils down to their maintenance culture. Using original parts and timely services due to their smog checks and such. I’ve seen a 2018 Toyota Camry with 610k miles that was used as a taxi in usa still going strong and everything sound here in Nigeria before and there are thousands of such examples in the dealer parking lots here in this country waiting for unsuspecting buyers all because they have dubiously rolled back it’s mileage. In fact, apart from rust and accidents their taxis last a long time on the road. Even their rentals are the same story. Take care of your vehicle and it will work well for you . . . Period. Just keep money for suspension work and resprays after okada scratching and bashing 3 Likes 1 Share |

dapotemi: Some of the life experiences are shared so that we can re-evaluate ourselves.. You've been saying its not sustainable and you're in it for over 5 years, paying rent, maybe kids sch fees, feeding, etc what other SUSTAINABILITY do you seek? You should rather say you WANT MORE, and that is okay. Some people just want to feed, pay rent, pay bills, pay sch fees maybe for a child or two and go to sleep, they are fine. They dont want to go to Cubana. Ehailing can moderately give that, whether you be rental/owner. There are challenges of course, but you will overcome only if you want to.. Go to twitter, just put it there that you want to buy a car and give out for Ehailing, 99% will advice you AGAINST it. They will tell you drivers will ruin you, they dont remit etc.... And who are those drivers? YOU!! An average nig have a very negative attitude towards others peoples investments, they dont care, then turn around to tell you its not sustainable... 10 Likes |

Conner44:I agree with you. Our roads are just too bad and this work, you can hardly escape not going to some place. We also don't have full access to original OEM parts, there's too many china knockoff parts in circulation. Toks parts are 50/50 or a gamble you are more likely to be on the loosing side. 3 Likes |

I like to be boss on my own na why all this office work no dey freak me. I'm not saying people should not do office job but they should allow e-hailling guys to enjoy their work too. YeyeGbami:Apt! See that kazeem part ehn, na them do pass You have to stay with them all through the process of repair, if not na Oyo. About two weeks ago I wanted to change my rear brake pads, I was reluctant to drive in traffic to get to my sure mechanic place so I decided to try this guy in my estate, dropped the car with him and walked to the salon. He had finished by the time I got back, following day I began to hear "kpaparan kparan" from the back. I knew something was off. Later in the day I inspected the brakes properly, that's when I noticed that the mechanic didn't put the pin that's supposed to hold the brake pads in place. The pads were already out of the calipers, the only thing holding them from falling off is the rim. 4 Likes 1 Share

Barbiturate: Same thing Vikings and Baz001 plus Muhammadson and the rest are trying to point out. This hustle will wreck your car while you were thinking you are earning big. This ehailing work supposes to be part-time. Pearl and cheerful giver are not telling us the downside of the business they are always pointing out the good side until investors such as Dru would come in due to the mouthwatering dashboard thinking they will hit it big which is not the case. Sorry bro 8 Likes 2 Shares |

fk001: Lolz... people never come and say how much they make and how well they r spending and enjoying d money...but when car spoil they will know how to type. Repairs and Maintainance is part of the Hussle...if u use ur monthly earnings on repair d next month, so be it. It's part of the risk of the job. Some bankers don't go home with their salary, some sales managers also have the same risk; paying off loses with their salary. Every workman keeps his tool well maintained and in good working condition. 13 Likes |

Johnnybegood12: Yes that’s what they call us ordinary driver or are you my driver ? So let me tell you what I mean be ordinary bolt driver like normal lazy driver or ant driver not the likes of donfortune48 (yahoo bolt driver) Gentlelife50 (big man driving bolt as fun) Tojahh (lounging on the island not driving but won’t let us rest ) I can go on & on Fuckeveryday who was CheerfulGiver mentee (telegram group ) but drove for 1 week and jappa. Even pearlGabrinchiii who set out competition but didn’t drive for two consecutive weeks and still claim to be cashing out week in week out Or Felicity001 that is in his plantain farm claiming to be driving Benz. Ordinary full time bolt driver ( with no side hustle ) can’t buy ticket to Dubai as we speak no cap. Inflation is real 8 Likes 3 Shares |
