Do international students on HCPC courses in line with NHS qualify for IHS refund then? Or the IHS refund is only meant for workers?

International students on any course qualify as long they work with the NHS or care homes certified with the CQC.

You must work an average of more than 16 hours a week to qualify. As an international student, you are eligible to work 20 hrs term time and full time (any hours) off term.

I did my bio on Aug 20, called and issue was escalated on September 12, today make it 15 working days yet I called and I'm told decision not made and they will get in touch whenever a decision is made. Worst is I have never gotten NSF mail from Ukvi. The challenge is there is even no timeline for resolution and my school enrollment will be over my next week.
I will really appreciate any advice that can help

I thought they said banks can give you telecopy that shows such transaction has been initiated but debit is pending. I'm not sure about this however, can anybody help confirm it?

You can make transactions on your account, there’s no rule stating you can’t.

Before you are debitted your money is still made available for you to use .So why would a bank do such ? When you can easily tranfer the money out of your account .

Yes I have done that. I did a new one and funded the account with money that can pay both. It’s been more than a week. I hope they do it asap

Wow! Deceit? Nah!!! I've paid over half of the tuition and would have paid in full but do not want to put in all the money at once in order to have extra cash. I have some good amount of money on me, just a little addition to make up for it. Shouldn't have bothered asking though but thank God someone has replied me. Everything isn't deceit please. I was really shocked with that, but well...

Sorry to hear this

1. You will get your IHS refunded but the visa application fee will depend on the stage, in most cases it wont be refunded if you have done your biometrics

2. If it is decided and you don't travel you won't get a refund for both IHS and visa application fees

What are you saying? You have already explained you are taking a loan for pof. You tagged her and she has said using a loan goes against the purpose of pof. Move on with your entitlement.
