@ MyVc,

Memorial University and every other Institution have their requirements.While some waive certain requirements,others do not.

I will STRONGLY advise you check up on their website and possibly initiate a conversation (via email) with the school ASAP!!!!

Yes; thanks.

@Sammyfrance23,

Whatever you can do to get your ENROLLMENT LETTER from school should be the minimum efforts you should put in to be allowed access at the POE.

You can aswell pay for full semester cos you can't pay same twice.

I hope this helps!

sammyfrance23:
Greetings everyone,
Do I have to pay all my tuition for a semester from Nigeria in order for me to be allowed entry at the airport?
I was going to pay 80% of my first semester tuition fee then complete it before deadline.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Betterlife30: 7:52am On Oct 07, 2022
IRCC is brutal. My friend was rejected this morning, that's exactly two weeks after submitting his application and one week after biometrics. I couldn't believe it when he called me few minutes ago to tell me about the sad news because it was too fast. At first, I was like do they even check the application at all. How can you reject someone exactly 14 days after submitting his application.
I don't know IRCC can actually reject an applicant from Nigeria within two weeks but they can't approve applicants from Nigeria within two weeks.

Anyway, it seems most people are now getting rejected based on financial reasons. Please, if you are going for a 2yr course. Just make sure that all the money is readily available in your statement of account. I don't think IRCC is considering one year POF again. You will notice the trend if you follow the rejection on this forum recently. If your 2yrs course will cost you $50k in total and you provided $40k which is more than enough for the first year only, there's 90% chance that they will reject the application. That's what I noticed now.

Career advancement is very critical when considering a study permit application. In a bid to show that there is progression in his career, opting for a business or finance program is a logical progressive step for him. He stands a better chance to convince the visa officer about his intent to pursue the business course since he has been running a company of his own over the years.

It will end in praise
thank you very much.
