They're not mean. Just normal shouting as they normally do in the military and para-military. They will ask you to sit on the floor and they shout at you to jog instead of walk. You're not to walk across the field or parade ground. You must always use the walk-way.
Your phone should be on silence or you switch it off. There is no answering of calls or pressing of phones inside the college.
They're very serious with credentials. Have everything needed for the cadre you applied for. Try to copy out your custom number. That's the number that starts with "NCS/".
For the medicals they check Height, Chest measurements,BMI, Blood test for HIV, Hepatitis,B.P, eye test. They will collect your urine for drug test. They will check your sugar level (RBS). You will also undergo x-ray.
Regarding the advice they gave us. They only told us that the vacancy is much and that we have 80% chance of getting shortlisted for training college.

We were not told whether we failed or not. I think everything not just the race will be considered that is including your credentials and medical screening results.

I don't actually mean failed in that sense. I meant, the people didn't make it within the stipulated 20 minutes, are they much?

Don't pay ooo... There are some who paid money to someone when their names weren't on the list. What they did was to hand them over to Custom police.
