Hello all,

Breakfast from IRCC was served hot this morning, it's back to the drawing board.
Got my notes a few weeks back, I think they were not able to make out part of my POF, one of my account statements was not in the MBS format and the version I uploaded was not clear, though I sent the clear version via mail and webform more than once.
I even sent the MBS version with a letter of explanation last night grin

Congrats to all who got their PPR and to those still waiting hang in there.

Let me go back to youtube and master how to write LOE and arrange my documents well.

my friend, see in this life, you focus where your intent is...
it is not an obsession.
take me, i have gotten what i want, i have also attempted to give back to the community, however, i still frequent here every other hour just to read. this is because i may stumble upon useful information here. i didnt bother to migrate to the "Living in Canada Nigerian Immigrant" thread becuase this one is more lively, even with the skoh skoh weh dey happen here..lol

so dont fret yourself. keep at it. you may see an information that will be the deal break to expedite action on your case under review.

by the way int'l student in canada will soon be able to work more than 20 hrs weekly. this is great news for hustlers.

by the way, this land is indeed green!!! less than 3 weeks of landing, and i am literarily doing point and kill selection with professional jobs on which to pick, and more flexible based on my study demands. abeg make unu do come.

Charito, i neva forget the JJC meet up ooh. anytime weh you come host am, we go still attend as JJCs. lol

No, seriously. My obsession with Canadian student visa is unhealthy. I need a break. I think about it when I wake up, when I'm eating, when I'm travelling, when I'm about to sleep. I even dream about it grin

Abeg, let's allow someone else to take charge. I'm sure there someone else here who can take over.

Leave all those your grammar
Medical request means he has passed eligibility at least 90%.
Congratulations in advance o
Joedave25:
@ Kingarike,

Medical request/exam is just one of the indices deployed by IRCC, they will need to assess if you are eligible (eligibility review) which may not be limited to ascertain:

1.) If there's a career progression.......purpose of study.Your program of interest should be able to align with your first degree/certificate or your working experience etc.

2.) If you have the capacity to fund your study.Funds available in your bank statement should be able to cover your living expenses for atleast one year(10kCAD +Tuition fees+Miscellaneous atleast 4kCAD). You will also be required to demonstrate (in your SOP) how you intend to foot your bills for the next year should you be running morethan a year program.

3.) If your choice of program is worth the expenses involved and so on.

The odds depends largely on the above and how you articulate your thoughts in your Statement of Purpose (SOP)

I will STRONGLY advise you take out time and go through the 1st page of this thread and the previous thread for more guide. All the information you will ever need to pull through are here.Spare time to dig deeper for insight!!!!!!!!

I hope this helps.

I know some of you are happy about the recent announcement of being able to work more than 20 hours a week, but I'm honestly sad about it.

Why not raise minimum wage for international students instead? It's like Canada is exploiting international students instead of helping us. Imagine. Expecting students to study full time, and then work full time for minimum wage? Something is not right.

Canada doesn't have the best interest of students at heart. If they did, they would raise minimum wage instead of allowing us to work more than 20 hours while studying full time.

1. Half bread is better than none
2. Some provinces already increased minimum wage.

Hi everyone, please I need an answer concerning this issue. My friend was given admission into the University Entrance Option that’s a one year program if been passed she can enter into her major program. The visa took time to come out, she had to defer her admission and she’s to resume by September 2023. Her visa have been approved now and it’s a one year visa which is suppose to expire by November 2023. I want to know if it’s not going to affect her when she’s to go in by August next year at the port of entry to get her study permit base on her visa is suppose to expire 2 months after her resumption. Below is a screenshot of what I mean. Thanks

Please what documents did you submit.Because am trying to unearth the reason behind disparities in processing time. Also the proof of fund you submitted does it encompass entire duration of program or just first year with explanation for means of paying for subsequent years.Your answer is needed to know how i can present my study permit application to replicate such processing speed.

no one is forcing you to work more than 20 hours. Its an option you can chose not to take. After all many students are already working under the table jobs in addition to the existing 20 hours. I don’t understand entitlement shebi u have living expenses. Dont work atall grin

I used the old portal for this application. For its swiftness....I will say its by grace.

Gores:

How come the second application was fast is it because it’s Znd application. August 5th is still waiting without eligibility started sef . No update only biometrics shows completed. Did you use the new portal or old portal.

It seems the old portal is faster can people who got ppr share which portal they use on their timeline

Have you compressed the file? If yes, then you should start thinking of removing the less important ones

Hello Guru's in the house,

I have been battling with my GCMS note for some days now just to know how best I can send ircc a webform/email to tackle the paragraph marked in red.

1) Expired LOA: I have sent ircc updated LOA for August 23 intake no acknowledgement from them before the note.

2) Non NSE: Passport will expire before the end of stay. My passport will expire July 23 that is like 9month from now. (I want to start application for renewal but the timeframe for passport nowadays is getting me worried. Please advise.

3) Saving (POF): *LUMP SUM* I have decided to resubmit all backing documents and add more receipt/invoice for bulk transaction. Please advise.

They clam I didn't provide history for fix deposit which did but I will send it again.

Please gurus@Olokings, @Frankrobbn1,@Makano,@Justmellow,

This is simple, you can merge both docs with your LOA, and upload in the LOA section..

Hello Cadygosh

I can see you are a great fan of the great works myself and my fellow knowlesgable people are doing here..

I intentionally had to take a break cos of the falseful information without evidences and negative atmosphere here during those times, I am not the kinda person that argues on a normal day, not to talk of arguing with faceless fellows here that I dnt even know how they look like real life..

I value my time so much cos as we all know Time is short, so instead of me arguing and trying to proof point here, I just replied the Jobless fellow once and that was it.. No time to be reacting to every stone thrown at me..

I just came online now to see close to a 100 Mentions, and I said to myself, While these Jobless peeps were talking ill of Makano here, Makano has been busy achieving a lot with his time, and I shook my head and said what a waste of time for these peeps..

Time is precious, a lot can happen withing minutes, so why waste your time on unnecessary talks and arguments.. Thas is the reason why you will never see me argue with anybody here, never.. I don't know how to waste my time..

Once again thank you Cadygosh for having my(our) back here, I wish you the best in all your endeavors..

I am back but may not be really active here... I will keep doing what I know how to do best (answering difficult questions here as regards study and spousal permit applications for free here)

Peace
Cadygosh:
You welcome Justmellow and good to have you back.

The bittered souls that have been claiming Fake PPR from you gurus have not for once brought out concrete evidence to prove their points, but they chose to tarnish the images of selfless people like you, frank and Makano on this thread out of Envy and hate. I can even see one of the bittered people acting like a guru here whereas he doesn't know shit.
It's good to see you are back and I hope Frank and Makano come back too so this thread can be enriched with professional advice and guidance, cos truth be told, We do not get accurate answers to the questions on this thread again..
