Nah, e go hard o, it's a point-based system and there's a "shortage list" meaning they don't just want graduates, they want graduates skilled enough to fill roles the Country is "short" of. Australia, UK, Canada, New Zealand even US, Germany are basically in the Global Skill Market shopping by setting up criteria/hurdles that they believe will sift the best Talents.

You'll be surprised that many of the people on MSc programmes are skilled enough to do those jobs but have to just Japa on student visa

If they change rules, they'll see what they're looking for

Strength, stamina and like to "work alone" - Warehouse
Can stomach things - Care job

.

Removing PSW after many arrived here hoping to get one? This is exactly what they did in 2012 and a lot of students missed out.

This is going to be an unfair treatment.

I just left a viewing in East London. The house had one hour viewing and 28 people showed up. The agent has said 7 showed interest... 28 people showed up. Really where does someone start from .

The agent said several of the 7 offer put higher than the offer price which is 1800 for 3 bed...as if 1800 is not high enough. Bidding war has joined . Make I dey go house as my house is very far so came here for nothing

London of all places. No be today the price war started in area naa.
That’s exactly what (outbidding and monetising the housing sector) was forewarning about folks getting desperate and playing into the hands of these agents/landlords. More so, in one of my replies to you earlier that location is also a factor.
Anyways, i strongly believe you will get @ a very reasonable price soon

At this juncture, all man should do him or herself.

"We’ve had a massive increase in the number of students coming into this country.

Students are a great thing because they are coming here to study and get skills… I do think we do get to a point where we have to look at some of the courses that people are doing in this country, some of the institutions, they are not always very good quality.

“I think it’s legitimate to question whether that is going to serve our economic objectives, and taking a more discerning, smart approach to the number of student visas I think is highly consistent with our agenda for growth
.”

Can't fault what she's saying

The thing shock me ooo. Never expected that number and no power to even add half a penny

Uk is just issuing visa left and right but not building additional amenities. If housing is like this , I guessing schools and Gp will have its own trickling effect

They are...
In a Somerset County, a site has been approved for 2000 housing units.

Some locals are asking where are these people coming from?...

Whilst another asked where is a GP surgery, work that these persons will do..

It requires planning like you mentioned

Lawsuit will fly left and right...the UK never behave like that . If they remove it , it would be for incoming student not those already here

Did they give any warning in 2012?

And did it apply to everyone or those just coming in?

U-turn might be unlikely if the British public supports it. One can only hope they won’t tamper with the policy as it is.

The economic situation, bad showing of £ against the $ and the public pressure ensure the swift U-turn in the tax cut of the mini budget.

It affected mostly those who are here already, unless people are given two years warning else it going to affect those at the beginning of their courses and those mid-way.

In 2012 a year warning was given

If there are cameras at the red lights in question it’s 3 points and fine. No waiver whatsoever.

People of Glasgow. Advise on Broadband?

With the help of Google, your postcode will tell you which service provider(s) is best for your area and then you compare broadband deals from the options available.

Okay, but is it true that your passport must have a minimum of 6months validity before you can gain entry into the UK? This is where my confusion lies, if it doesn't matter, then we're better off renewing in the UK...

AlphaUno:

The choice is yours to renew from Nigeria or wait till it expires here, provided that they would be in the UK before May ‘ 23
If you have a sure plug that will assure you b4 application, then I will say sort everything in 9ja
