Tinubu lagacy! No wonder Lagos was ranked the worst city to live in the world after war torn Damascus in Syria. A vote for Tinubu means that Syria, Iraq and Libya combined will be better than Nigeria. Vote Wisely! Aljazzera News or Any foreign media should make a documentary about this story. People need to see the wickedness, rot and killings going on in that part of Lagos. 12 Likes |

gasparpisciotta: Have you watched the movie, 'Gangs of Newyork' by Martin Scorsese, based on loosely held historical facts but nonetheless represented what early modern American society was. Clan warfare for dominance turned into gangland. Like Newyork'which was the harbour and gateway for migrants from Europe so are all these gangs in Lagos today, all of them non indegenous Lagosians fighting for territory and power in ungoverned spaces. In decades to come and in a few generations 'Lagosians' will look back and wonder with regret how these shameful things become part of their subculture. 11 Likes |

The thread is a supposed one for all Oshodites in any part of the world. The ugly incidents that happened way back in oshodi in early 2000 is peculiar to every community where young boys seeks to survive the odds of life. The junctions mentioned are the most notorious one out of the huge numbers that you find at almost every junction of oshodi streets then. Oshodi has produced great personalities in the academics, government, corporate world, and many more that the area boys are few numbers that ruined the community. Most of these street Lords are our classmates who dropped out of secondary school either to learn a trade then later deviated to other means of survival as young lads. The street gangs/urchins can't be attributed to be caused by an individual/government for there existence/atrocities. I recall when Fashola said, the solution to stop area boys is to stop the areas, and government was able to stop the existence of illegal busstops that breed the touts for a more centralised and legal parks. Above all, it's hatred, unforgiveness, mistrust, betrayal, bitterness and greed that brew conflicts amongst the gangs. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

The craving for easy money is at the root of the hooliganism. Take a look at what the so called oluomo has done for himself within a short time. Even koko Zaria, his deputy, is now a multi millionaire (if not a billionaire) -- all thanks to state-sponsored thuggery. These Lagos politicians, especially tunubu and his foot soldiers, should be very ashamed of themselves. One day the people will stand up and refuse to take any more of their sh!t. 7 Likes |

No better source of livelihood (no producion coy), virtually all the ladies there, are into prostitution... No job Faber: 8 Likes |

Yampotatocarrot:even small Small adolescent girls who have pimples breasts aren't even conscious of their sexuality get raped, kidnapped ,bullied and killed.thise Mobile female traders are their major target for bullying.they can just take pure water or Chin Chin on the head of the little girl Hawking and feel they have no need to pay.thry might have the money to pay but there's this sense of entitlement they have so tinubu being president will bring untold violence, killing, raping and arson on another level with state backing By the way the usual burning of balogun market during Christmas season or towards the end of the year in the middle of the night, who do you think is behind it? I like the way Igbo traders in Lagos island put them in their place and I Think it's the resentment that they cannot exploit and bully Igbo traders like they do with others are what I suspect motivates their arson.their motto is usually if I cannot have his stuff via bullying and violence,we will rather Destroy everything. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against tinubu but his use of touts and putting them in sensitive political positions is what I find disturbing 8 Likes |
