How on earth will any country that wants to grow their economy ban student visa when not at open war?
They can make some amendments but not outright ban. Canada has even scrapped 20hour weekly students work restriction.

Try University of Essex, Swansea University. I got unconditional offers from both with an official transcript.

Also, apply to as many other schools as possible with your certificate. You'll eventually get many offers to choose from. Not all Universities require transcripts.

My 1 cent though!

If you must study abroad, please choose a university that worths the sacrifice. It would shock you that some Nigerian universities are rated on THE (Times Higher Education) far better than many UK universities mentioned here.

Do your due diligence before you choose.

At this state I honestly need help. I did my biometrics 8 July got an empty NSF email, escalated twice almost deferred due to inability to resume at the schools deadline of 30th of September. I finally got my BRP notifications on the 2nd of October and was able to buy more time. The issue is my status still remains at “received at DMC”. I haven’t gotten my passport despite the positive response on the BRP I’ve gone to the embassy and was told I need an appointment. The grace the school is giving me is this Friday I’m lost of options right now

Meeeeehn... This kind of situation is so disheartening!!!. I'm currently in this kind of situation, in fact my school asked me to defer my admission to January and the funniest is that no space for my course in January, so I need to reapply for a new course (which I'm very OK with cuz it's an advance course of current cert)

You can mail the UKVI and inform them about this issue. If possible, tell them to escalate.

Also, inform your school again that your passport is still with the DMC.

This thing is so so annoying!!!

Can you send a copy of the fidelity to them so they are aware you are submitting that account.

It's up to you to advise that the additional funds are for your dependants

Please, I used my own funds in my old account (access bank) for POF to give to school showing only the Main applicant fund just to get my CAS. But I intend using another bank(fidelity) for POF for me and my entire family at the visa stage.

Yes you can use bank account that’s in your name to apply for the visa for yourself and your kids. Just get other documents you need from your wife ready

I did my bio on Aug 20, called and issue was escalated on September 12, today make it 15 working days yet I called and I'm told decision not made and they will get in touch whenever a decision is made. Check their international payments on their website, click on global pay and international bank transfer, the account details will sent to your email after providing your student ID and other details.

You apply through UCAS and always confirm from your choice school what to do.

It took six weeks from application to get debited. I followed up with my account officer

I think you should apply with it. Since it was issued by the school, I don't think there should be any issues about that. Besides, some schools dont require transcripts at all. Apply to as many schools with whatever credentials you have.

Please anyone with an idea on what the payment plan for Northumbria University is. The additional information attachment in the offer sent to me says that for January admission, 50% of the fee has to be paid before enrollment on Jan 23, and the balance by Apr 1. But I saw that the deposit stated in the document is 5500 which is different from the 3500 that is stated in my offer.

I can advise you to initiate form A as well as you POF already counting. It would be hard for you to wait after tuition before you start your POF. You are currently late since form A does not guarantee you 1month
