Nairalanders I'm here again. Well I noticed my ac sometimes it freeze at early morning like 7am,8am,but when the sun is st a ridiculous degrees, if I don't turn it to maximum,I will be sweating small small. So for this reason,I went back to the ac man,and he checked,gas was still there,went to another samething,so he told me to go to car wash to wash the radiator and all,that it seems some places a re blocked. So later I went to car wash,did total body wash and radiator wash from top. So after abt 50mins ,my car was ready to move.

Immediately i started the car,I quickly panicked because the sound I heard,was like helicopter fan speed. At first,I was confused. My guy came to driver side,started the car,same sound. So I felt maybe it has not dried yet. So we drove down like 2km,and suddenly even at 1000 rpm,the fans sound like its on 5th gear fast speed,I started feeling heat coming from radio area ,plastic opp steering,inside the boot,middle arm storage. So we stopped to check what's wrong. Ipened the hood,it felt so hot and the radiator was just vibrating like aggressive vibration while engine was on. Temperature guage was about 3 pins downwards,still the aggresive vibration esp during traffic. Please what could be the solution,or is it cos of the force of cold wash from car wash nozzle that caused it. AC was never on,engine was never washed... JUst a very high aggressive vibration from radiator and condenser feels so so hot..... what's the solution

Mechanic has no business here. My radiator has not been removed in almost 6months ago,I just checked the radiator now,it's still filled of coolant,reservoir tank has a lil bit of coolant left over inside. Tho what I noticed was my.condenser at both sides,now looks like silver,instead of the colour black. I will give the car 3 days without driving it. I guess water got into the motor of thw radiator fans or something....If the condenser has fried,then to get toks cos the condenser is now 2 years old,ac 1 year 6months old,radiator since factory installed it,tho repaired it here and there. Let me wait till Friday and see what happens.

Well to solve the long story short. I now regret taking the car to a useless car wash, who damaged my fan,the clips holding them and I think he also fried some parts of my condenser. Before nowzmy condenser had a uniform dirty brown colour on the body, now I saw sone parts are silver some parts seems to be eaten up. The whole problem started since yesterday........After visiting the car wash.. that was when things came up ... it did not heat up till about 2hrs ago. I had to buy another plastic blade as the car wash cold wash pressure washer nozzle,damaged an already expired fan blade waiting for an accident or force to dismantle.. After installing the fan blade at drivers side. No more aggresive rattling,aggressive radiator vibration. Tho I think the car wash nozzle has also made a small leak into my radiator and the leak spread through pipes connecting to my arm rest area,radio area,and sides of radio area. I will be taking the radiator back to agbedeh to check for leakage and repair. Now my ac drops to 900 rpm before now it drops to 1100rpm. So definitely my radiator is having a leak,I also topped like half cup to fill the radiator back to brim. My final lesson is I will never wash radiator and condenser again after using a random ac guy,he used all those small can gas and not the medium green cylinder original gas,so after like a month,the low and medium ac speed does not blow cold like it used to before now. I guess the random ac guy sold to me fake gas. I changed cabin filter, no difference. I will have to flush out the fake gas after I repair my radiator and find original ac gas with green cylinder to refill.

Bro trust me you can’t get original ac gas in this country anymore. They are all fake. Our brother from the east are in competition to import the cheapest products to this country in other to sell faster than one another. This the country where we find ourselves.

Op, your problem is you have a nice car but you patronize cheap places for maintenance and parts. I always recommend radautoworks and gazzuzz for people in Lagos both offline and online. The are also hundreds of car dealerships for you to choose from but the moment they stone you price for OEM parts, that's when you'll understand why substandard and second hand parts sellers are in business which is simply because many Nigerians can't fork out that cash for original parts.

Planning on swapping my follow come engine for tokunbor with gear. Different hands have touched the car and damaged plugs here and there. So i believe by december i will have 150k to do engine and gear swap. I love the 2jz cos its so so reliable. Well my radiator has a small leakage and my repairer said i should come back by saturday. So wont be driving till then,tho my temperature level is like 4 pins downwards b4 now it used to be 2 to 3 pins downwards and no heat from inside the car,but due to leakage the interior gets hot within 30mins and i always pray not to meet traffic. I love 2jz engine because its indestructible. And its a back axle car.

I'll advise you to go to gazzuzz if in Lagos, his contact is on his signature. What you want is a mechanic who will be straightforward from day one instead of throwing parts at the car randomly. You might not even need to change your entire

Forget about the noise and radiator etc of this car . . . There’s something seriously wrong with the steering wheel of op’s vehicle

I’m still observing it to pinpoint the exact issue but I know it’s a very dangerous one

I hope it won’t fail him before I crack the exact issue but in the meantime I’d advise op to drive extremely carefully
