DeOTR:

Obi did not make any revelations that we didn't know about before. The Federal Government already admitted that Nigeria couldn't meet her quota because of oil theft.
You people should be calming down. No be today oil theft start and we know. The recent happenings in the oil sector is not a function of what anybody said. For God's sake, Obi quoted the FG on the amount of barrels of oil stolen daily.
He's it that he revealed what we already know, or I don't know the meaning of revelation again?

You should be calming down ahbegii!
Obi actually opened the pandora box on illegal oil theft in Nigeria and how it's done
Obi emphatically accused those in government of being solely responsible for Oil theft since it's highly impossible for ordinary folks to coordinate the logistics involved!
He was categorical and he gave his valid reasons as to why he believes that those in government are the ones responsible.

Until he made that accusation, the Lagos ibadam expressway section of Nigerias press has been pushing the narrative suggesting that "Oil bunkering " is like common robbery by ordinary thieves. What Obi did was to expose Nigerians to what was going on. It was an eye opener for millions.
People now know what happens with Oil vessels in the high seas .

Here are some REASONS, Bola Tinubu will not get a VOTE from us.

1. He was the one who sold Buhari that Buhari was the saviour and that Buhari would solve insecurity, give Nigerians constant electricity, sell rice below 8,500, make refineries work for 6 months and build more refineries. The rest is history.

2. He keeps lying to Nigerians about his age, health, parents, and education.

3. He will use his company to collect taxes and retain 30% as he did in Lagos.

4. He will create more agberos as he did in Lagos

5. With his Muslim/Muslim ticket, he will cause a serious religious crisis that could lead to Nigeria being split.

6. We don't need a president like Buhari who will always depend on his liar aides for information and be fed up with lies.

7. We need a president who will have direct access to the people, source information, and know what is going on around the country on his own for solutions.

8.. We need a unifier, someone who will unite all parts of Nigeria that have been divided by Buhari. Tinubu's same-faith ticket has already created disunity between Muslims and Christians.

If Nigerian presidential votes are decided by southerners only, we might have gotten it right many years ago.

But Northerners are always voting along ethnic and religious line, they don't care if the person has the capacity, once he's from North shikina.

That's why Nigeria may never get better as a United entity.

Illiterates far outnumbers the literates.

Nigeria matter tire me honestly.

The critical question is ...
Why is the South always divided ?
If the South cannot unite...
We will be at the mercy of the North forever....

This is a balanced article...

Apt and precise about Peter Obi's momentum and his rare traits that are absent in majority of Nigeria's Politicians.... humbleness, cost cutting style of governance and ofcourse his "stinginess"..

The article also touches on the BUTS.....his unclear idea of how he is going to fix the economy and largely running on a platform that doesn't have candidates in large numbers of House of Assembly and Senate seats.

If PO, was that good... His administration in Anambra state shud have reflected it.

Anambra is just like any other state in Nigeria... They don't have water, electricity, roads, jobs, security etc like oda states.

He as little or nothing to offer. Although I still prefer him to d oda two top candidates.

The good polictians are not yet born in Nigeria.
My brother Anambra state is doing fine. The state will not turn into London before obis work is appreciated. Someone that cleared debts and left 70+ billions in the coffers. Does that not tell you he had addressed most of the critical issues in the state?

IPOB hate Obi because they feel he is taking the shine off their struggle for Biafra and he is giving little hope to Nigerians that have already lost hope about this geographic entity.
IPOB also thinks that it's better for Tinubu whom they see as Buhari Pro Max to be elected knowing that he is weak and that Shettima will run the Govt and hopefully run it down, so that Nigeria will sink further and everyone will demand to go their way and they will have Biafra

He is not the only last chance we have in the country, if we even use his Anambra where he governed for 8yrs as a case study, would you want a Nigeria of obi's Anambra? He is only a successful business on an individual bases, as for governance and using Anambra as a yardstick it's a no no for Nigeria to be replicated that way, meanwhile it's not by giving memos for publishing in foreign journals that will win elections for you, bring money and ideas to do grassroot sensitization an mobilization OBI! Too much talk no the win elections.. and no shi shi no the work for naija politics!

Unfortunately, Obi is not a visionary and he is quite the bigot. Carrying your bags has nothing to do with great leadership. For God's sake, millions of Nigerians carry their bags. What sort of nonsense is this from the magazine?

There's no box opened brother, only an ignorant person will think/assume oil theft/bunkering is like burgling a home. It was the same way Buhari was accusing everyone about corruption, subsidies, Nigeria Airways, NEPA, refinery etc. It's very easy to point accusing fingers. Obi has no precedence to show he can do any better. He was just in PDP, buying 50million form, a couple of months ago for God's sake. Rest and think abeg.

I was in Anambra throughout Peter Obi's tenure, It wasn't a magic as we Nigerians always expect. I was angry that he didn't build roads in his first tenure but he was busy facing education and other things. It was his second tenure that Anambra became the most interconnected state in Nigeria. Peter is the best thing that will happen to Nigeria. He is a man that does what we benefit the masses nomatter any big man it will affect. Goodluck had good intentions but lacked d political will but PO has that in abundant.

You are just a mindless hater.

If there is anybody at all with a precedence of fighting corruption and combating waste, it is Peter obi.

Is it his financial prudence in his 8yrs as governor, or the glowing recommendation from the current director general of the world trade organization who said "he was the only one among all the rest of the governors" who stood for savings and prudence".

Fashola and co wanted to share it all.

The fact that we had a sovereign wealth fund at all was in no small part due to Peter obi.
Btw, the sovereign wealth fund have been lavished to zero by the Buhari govt.

This election is between good and evil.
Not between better and best.

Even the blind can see it.
