Obi thats hoping to get Northerners votes, what deal did he sign with them?

grin

Organic deal..... LMFAO

These People have turned politicking to agitation. Imagine one of them pm'ed Omojuwa's wife to warn her husband........ for what exactly?

So Omojuwa has no right to support any other candidate aside Obi. Frank Idoho is openly supporting Obi and no one is threatening him or his family.

Funnily, one Uncle here masquerading as Fencist would rather blame everything on BAT and his Supporters. To him, everything Obidense are doing is right while BAT Supporters are propagandists.... LOL!

One thing I know for sure is that I learn from previous events...I am in Cross River State, not even Calabar but Ogoja so, I know what I am talking about when it comes to appeal away from mainstream media and the big cities...

Over here, it’s a fight between PDP and APC and it's the same for every other part of the State except for places where you have a good number of Igbos and Calabar...

The chances of LP doing well depends on the performance of their Senatorial candidate in the Southerner Senatorial district Rt. Hon Daniel Aauquo who is a two term House of Member under the PDP, with his popularity in the South I expect it to translate to votes for PO since the elections will be held on the same day...One thing is certain, the electorates (Some, not all especially those in the rural areas) are not educated enough to vote different parties for different positions in an election conducted on the same day...

In the rural areas, they only know PDP and APC and truth be told no matter the number of rallies held in bug cities, once there's little or no penetration into the rural areas, expect those folks over there to go on with the status quo where before leaving their houses they already know it's PDP or APC they're voting...

I look forward to the time when Nigerians (Particular reference to those in the rural areas) will vote for Party A for Presidential elections, Party B for Senatorial, Party D for Reps, Party C for Governorship and so on based on the competency of the aspirants flying the flags of each party...

What you described there is what we call structure and what some people try to laugh off.

In every ward in Nigeria you will have PDP and APC reps campaigning for their candidate

What you see people do in rallies is 5% of the total vote. The people that attend rallies are like 5-10% of total votes. Its mainly people in capital cities that are available who attend rallies. The others depend on structure and mobilization

You dey mention Ogoja which is even popular, what of deep interior places? Some places in Nigeria roads don't get there its lorries, boats and Okada. I have visited some of those places before. They will surely vote that day and they will likely choose between PDP and APC which are the parties in their midst.

We will sit on Twitter making noise, On NL making noise, debating on TV etc. How many people realistically will change their minds?
Out of 10 people on Social Media or with access to Internet 8 are already decided on who to vote for

I have seen this dance several times, Recently Buhari in 2011, when the entire Social Media was shouting Buhari-Bakare. At the end of the day besides the core North, This Buhari Bakare did not penetrate most places in the South because they didn't have the structure beyond the Blackberry messages and TV commercials

It was until Buhari came off his high horse and negotiated with ACN that had deep structures in the South before he was able to make progress

I'm sure you've heard of the super volunteers who are aggressive in their rural penetration in selling the party to the locals.

This movement started when... 4 months ago and we've done more than any body expected and the truth is we are going harder because we are getting more volunteers.

What I mean is that people who follow tinubu do that from the prism of tribal lens.
I mean, you just heard nihilist say the exact same thing and justify it.

To make my point clearer, look at it this way, there is only one candidate having a wide national appeal right now and that's peter obi. Look at this thread as a case study, every single staunch Tinubu supporter is a yoruba person while Peter Obi supporters are diversified. From sege, an edo boy, to Ibime an ijaw man, to blueraydick (leaning obi) a yoruba man.

Why does the yellow teeth-stained drug baron not have that diversified appeal?
Why is it that only oasis, larride, dayo (Hitler), ribbit, nihilist, afrodoc, ALL OF THEM, like , EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE YORUBA support the yellow teeth-stained drug baron?

The only non-yoruba folk supporting Tinubu here is the radical islamic terrorist here who is attracted by their founder shettima being on the ticket.

So ask yourself again, why is Tinubu's supporter mostly from his tribe?

You look at Tinubu, you see an 86 year old Parkinson patient and you're attracted to him, how? Right after experiencing the death of a sitting president and the failure of an ailing president.

You read Tinubu's history, you see one filled with absolute criminality, yet you are attracted to him, not that you've even heard from him adequately to know exactly his intentions for you but you admire him? Tell me that's not tribal sentiment at play.

So yes, those core Tinubu supporters are tribalists.
It's not an insult to the yoruba race as a whole but a segment of supporters.

I do not subscribe to this ethnic tagging sha. It's not necessary at all.

Anyone who was old enough should remember the Buhari Bakare 2011 BB2011. Even search on NL. The noise was much, Many thought Buhari will make a dent.

When results came out
See attached

Even in Lagos where the noise was much for Buhari Bakare, he didnt get 10%. See the same for the entire SW.

That's why I said asking for primary school cert when someone gives you university cert is weak.

I am categorically NOT a Tinubu fan btw, and I don't have a horse in this race, as I believe Nigeria is already doomed and beyond salvation.

I bet Tinubu is somewhere sitting comfortably in his favourite diapers smoking a cohiba at this news...

nihilistjnr:

To be honest, this 'achievement' is an indictment on Tinubu.

Why does Lagos need two international airports? And why must it be at Lekki?

Tinubu is carving out an enclave of Lagos for the super rich, whilst the rest of Lagos can go to hell.

I dread to think what would happen if he's allowed ro entrench societal stratification at National level.

Donjazet2 just come out and own your tribalism with your full chest.

Because I'm not particularly sure why the guy that said all these things about Tinubu is being described as a Tinubu supporter...

...unless its because I'm Yoruba and it fits your tribalist narrative

There is no amount of money that will ever be enough for Tinubu

But its not even greed that's the issue. Tinubu is a pathological kleptomaniac. I'm sure that guy shoplifts just for the hell of it. He strikes me as rhe type of guy that will spend 1 million naira to prepare for a robbery that he knows from the onset can only fetch 100 bucks.

For him, its the principle of it. Nobody is allowed to have, unless he has it ALL.

That's why a man that can't physically hold flag demanded and ensured that he was made the flagbearer for APC

Nihilist the tribalistic tinubu fanboy.
