It will be a bit unfair to compare Osimhen to Haaland now because Erling right now is on a complete different level to most strikers but most elite strikers like Kane, Mbappe and even Aubameyang have great anticipation like you highlighted. These aforementioned guys despite their pace hardly get caught offside. Their position within the 18-yard box also stands them out. Moffi has a bit of that smart box movement. Look at his goal against Algeria the defender was completely unaware of were Terem was before he got to the ball. If it were Victor he would somehow have gotten offside.

Subzero047:

You don't know what you are talking about, anticipation will make you stay onside and not offside, you haven't talked about Haaland's speed of thinking, clear ball striking and positioning which he has more than Osimhen, Man City's top scorer last season De Bruyne had 15 goals and Haaland has already topped that in 2 months so no be by luck

Excellent cameo, Osimhen.

Movement excellent. But his offside awareness has to be the worst I've seen since Morata.

Perfect ending.
Nunez is up there too, I've been observing he has poor offside awareness

The players ought to have done better not to concede 2 goals in Ghana. I expected them to qualify for the chan as such launch their international career from there....with the way you guys are hyping them here they should have done the magic. Me I didn't hype Salisu at all...just saying had it been he was given necessary support he would have done better

Was imama not given the same type of support? Were u not calling him all kinds of names then

I thought Dessers and Osi were better players or on the same level grin.

No one is close to dreaming of being on the level of Mbappe and Haaland. Those guys can potentially even beat Messi/Ronaldo records considering they are not even 24 yet and already on 200+ career goals.
Please how can I contact you? I need some US admissions advice.

They were already slaughtering him on social media after being out for 40 days
Osimhen in 40 minutes created panic, he made some mistakes, but look at this picture
Starts from 50 yards to go press a ball that never looks like it could be his.
And instead he takes it.
#Copied

He works had for his team and his pressing is no doubt too notch

This reminds me how my school university of Ilorin defeated Kwara United with full squad 3-0 in the 90s,then we have ex polish international Emma Olisadebe a non league player in our team.

We just need to catch them young, watching players like Alaba,Akanji and Saka keep on telling me getting players with true age would give us real development for the future in Nigeria.

Young ones learn faster than old ones and in sports age is the koko.

Honestly Chuckwueze should be up there by now but consistency is just his issue, anytime I watched Saka I keep on asking what is wrong with Chuckwueze cos he has it all.

They should take boys from football academies in nigeria pincluding Barcelona football academy kn Lagos our u17 and u20 teams and use them for the olympic qualifiers.
Especially the u17 boy that scores freekick a lot calledvemmanuel micheal. They should aldo use players from the academy club that defeated them.
Also they can use players in football academies abroad like victor eletu of ac milan or malcolm ebowei

Reminds me of how Bright Stars Academy dismantled our U17 team back in 2001. After the dismantling, some of them were recruited into the team which included, Akpan Bassey and Kelechi Osunwa.

No coincidence.

Darwin Nunez and Osimhen are at the same level.

But Nunez better movement. Similar poor offside awareness.

This is what I keep telling people. Osimehn in a team like Man city will score pas Haaland

Two years ago Osimhen and Haaland were on the similar pedestal, but Haaland's growth has since flown.

Haaland trained specifically against offside before VAR came.

Now he is training his weaker foot.

I don't think comparing Haaland to Osimhen is like-for-like.

Osimhen plays as a targetman at Napoli, Haaland plays like a poacher.

At the end of their career, I believe Osimhen will leave a similar legacy to Drogba.
But Haaland will have a similar legacy to Cristiano.

But the same fullbacks are playing in top leagues in Europe and are always delighting to watch.... Chuckwueze should be consistent and by now he should be our talisman in form of Messi not even Osimehn.

THrowback Thursday; do you know that the winning goals that won Nigeria our biggest trophies in the 90s were scored by the same man!!!! In both instances, this legend wasn't one of the starters at both tournaments but yet he was the one with the winning goal(s) . He needs no introduction, Emma Amunike!!!!!
He is also the last coach as at now to win any major global trophy for Nigeria.
There has to be something special about him!!

He could have been the biggest star from Nigeria if not for injuries that he had when he went to Barcelona.
