Is The Release Of Nnamdi Kalu A Political Move? by FreedomfromtheT: 7:17pm On Oct 14, 2022
Some people have been insinuating that the release of Maazi Nnamdi Kalu is a political move by the federal government of Nigeria. Having seen the popularity of Mr. Peter Obi which is very strong among his kinsmen the Igbos, it is alleged that the plan is to divide the Igbos since they seem almost united in their support for Peter Obi's candidature same way they were almost unanimous in their support for Biafra under the leadership of
Nnamdi Kalu. Will some Igbos who are supporting the APC or PDP be used to discourage those who are supporting Peter Obi from doing so and running after a Biafra that may not materialize soon? Will Maazi Nnamdi Kalu throw his support behind Peter Obi and thus give the opponents something to say, insist on Biafra as aforetime thereby dividing the Igbos or be neutral? Time will tell.

Dumb political move by idiots.

Obi has eaten so deep into the heart of people, nothing change whether our beloved MNK is released. Our supports for Obi remain constant and ever strong like rock of Gibraltar.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu released is a bonus to us.

Definitely it is a political move. I've seen this long before now, and I wrote it in one of the topics months back. I knew they wil release him this period. It's to create disunity in the South...especially in the Eastern part. IPOB wil rise up again, and the influence of Peter Obi will reduce, and if care is not taken, the youths in the East will be distracted led off course.

These cabals know what they are doing. I just hope that LAbour Party and Others had foreseen this and prepared ahead.

Thats nonsense, the judiciary is independent of government, they make their own decisions.

However, whether Nnamdi Kanu is released or not, if Nigerians want Peter Obi to be President, they will vote for him

My personal opinion is that Peter Obi stands no chance of winning, no Igbo man does

Money, ethnicity, religion and power of incumbency will play major in these elections

There is something called weak defense. It can be used to score intended own-goal in court. Yes, money, ethnicity, religion and power of incumbency will play major roles in the coming election. No party has a monopoly of spending money. Religion will favour Peter Obi of the Labour party because he is the only Christian among the three (or four) major contenders. Thank you.
