Good day foodies in the house,

I just packed into my newly completed bungalow last two months and a lady in the neighbourhood gave me seeds of snake tomatoe among other seeds when I was still developing the site months ago which I planted. Today, it blossoms and doing great producing fruits but never ripe, my ugu plants are also growing faster and I with my little girl and new wifey already made some fantastic meal from it. Just looking forward to get pods from the ugwu plants to plant more of it in my compound as the leaf is very great in haemoglobin.

My point/question here is how do I prepare the snake tomatoe as my wife is not familiar with it at all and I only ate it back then from mum's pot while young and have no idea of preparing it at all, no idea in any way. With the look of things and my research, snake tomatoe will do better in term of nutritious value than the accepted conventional tomatoe which is enormous in the Nigeria market...

1)Open it
seperate the seed
2)remove the red covering on the seed, put the soft red covering in ur blender or mortar
3)scrape the inside of the body, put the paste you get into the blender or mortar

I was passing by ibori golf this evening and I saw a very beautiful ugwu plantation.i had wanted taking pictures but I was restricted.

Spinach pods are beautiful when they sprout.

Nne, to tell you the truth, I don't even know what snake tomato is.
I'm not familiar with it.
If I saw it, I'd probably consider it a wild plant that could be poisonous, and should not even be touched, let alone eaten.
