Yes, proceed with your upfront medical. despite the fact that no one knows how IRCC works. However, if you pass the eligibility requirement instead of receiving a medical request, it is PPR straight. Thank you for responding. When I'm done with the medicals, how will I send it to IRCC? I'm not sure there's a way to attach the medical document after submission? |

Hello. If you are using the new IRCC portal, you won’t upload any IMM form. You will fill all forms online and proceed to upload your supporting documents Cheers loohlaah: Good evening everyone,
First off I want to say thank you for important information being passed here. It has really been helpful.
Please I have a question. For Application submitted via the new ircc platform, are we required to fill and submit some IMM forms? if so, can someone be kind to list them form me.
Thank you in anticipation. 1 Like |

What i did differently from my previous application was that i became self sponsored, i had my mom instruct her debtor to pay the 22M he owed to my account which was what I explained in the LOE as it was a debt repayment. This of course i backed with the loan agreement docs, transfer slips.
Also paid my full tuition out of the money and also set up a GIC account to further clear any doubt that the money was just for show. After all of this i also showed an MBS of 13M in liquid cash and stated so in my LOE that i have been handed over all the money for my school and i have full control (clarifying doubts that maybe the money might not be available to me)
For the properties i used this as further proof of funds and also ties. Very important! I did a gift deed of a duplex from my father to me to show ties and personal asset.

Please o, I got my PPR and I have sent it. But I deferred since September 20th, 2022 to September 2023 and collage hasn’t sent me and updated LOA. My question is, what effect will it have on the visa? As I’m thinking they will issue visa from 2022-2023 instead of using the new LOA that’ll mean they will issue 2023-2024. Abeg make una help me with my concern.

Damn... that easy? How long did it take you to get the visa?
And if you don't mind, may I know why you opted for Canada at first instead of Australia?
Congratulations BTW! Omo I applied September first week got my visa today no stress so unbelievable. Opted for Canada because I’ve family there so settling down would be easy especially most of my university and childhood friends are there I also have family in Australia. originally I started this journey in 2021 but Australia was supposed to be my first choice but their border was closed for more than a year with international students forced to receive classes online so my family insisted I do Canada, with proof of funds wahala, wasted over 480k for 5 years tax clearance, gathering all sort of documents all still Canada Bleep me up, I wish I just did the Australia since last year… I still did the online class I was running away from in Australia. Especially the difference in tuition paid 4.1m for Canada then recalled it after refusal than paid 6.4 for Australia. Based on increased exchange rate 1 Like |

Thank God, Canada is not for everyone. |

I don't think some other property valuation is really necessary since you already included one irrespective of whether thy stay there or not and payslips cannot be provided since they are not paid wages/salaries. You can include the CAC document of your mum's business to show her source of income, if you dad belongs to an association you can add his membership card to signify his job line. Also get a notarized affidavit of support, personal details of your parents (ID card, International passport or birth certificate). Ensure you also get a letter of reference from your bank to signify that both parents consent to you using the funds in their joint account. Olatonyy: Good day everyone, I'm new on Nairaland and I have learnt a lot from this thread in this short time. Congratulations to everyone who got PPR and pray it's turns out positively for people expecting a response or reapplying.
So, I'm about to start my application this month and I'm using an agent and these are the documents I have so far... 1. Transcript, certificate and WAEC result 2. Letter of acceptance for winter 2023 3. SOP 4. First year Tuition fees receipts. It's a two year post graduate program. Cost: $18350 CAD/ YEAR Note: I would be completing service this November
Sponsors' Documents 1. Letter of Sponsorship 2. MBS (joint account) amount to 14.2M 3. Valuation of property my parents live 4. Tenants agreements Now my agent requested that my parents show a valuation of other properties aside the one they live in as it's more reasonable that one can sell and also a payslip which my parents cannot present as my father is a technician and my mum is a trader.
NOTE: THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY REGISTERED BUSINESS. Please how else can I show a proof of income for my parents?
