Good day house, I came into Canada as a permanent resident in August. I tried getting a British Columbia drivers license from ICBC, however, I was informed, I need a permanent resident card as a means of ID. I’m yet to get my permanent resident card, I only have my COPR. Please house, how do I go about it. Thank you

Hello Everyone,
Happy Sunday!
Please I have a few questions bugging me.

If one applies to ncpeel co-op program, after the 8 weeks of training, would the 10 weeks placement be a paid internship?

Also, who has gone through this program and they were retained by the organization?

Lastly, is it always this hard to get employment even when you're coming from an IT background? What can one do

Thank you to everyone who would take their time to help clear my doubt.

It's called pumpkin. Some cultures use it to make soup. Some boil it or roast but it's also commonly associated with fall weather and Halloween because people can carve the skin and flesh to depict a face or animal figure

I followed the process for linking PR card to my application linked on page 1 of this thread and I was able to successfully link for myself and my kids. When I enter my spouse's details however, I get a response that no application was found, has anyone experienced this before? How were you able to resolve it ?

Looks like it’s unpaid from the info on their site. For paid internships, try checking for opportunities with careeredge.

Call them, same thing happened to me. They probably didn't get the correct details for your spouse at the POE, so their application will be on hold.

Thanks Folla
For photo BC service card, COPR is not accepted as a primary ID, hence I wasn’t able to apply for it. Any relevant info will be highly appreciated. Thanks
