Obi is a liar quite alright but he may be right on his claim that the brewery is the highest tax payer in Anambra state. What the brewery pays to the state government is PAYE of staff and not Company income tax. That the company is a loss making company doesn’t mean it won’t remit the deducted taxes of staff to Anambra state Internal Revenue Service.

On the claim that the company employs 60% of Anambra people, that’s a big fat lie as usual. Just Peter Obi being his lying self as always.
