Well, the story of Noah in the bible is not original.

It is a cheap copy of the story of Ziusudra the last king of Sumer before the great flood.

In the Babylonian version of the story, Ziusudra was also known as Utnapishtim.

In the epic of Gilgamesh, he (Gilgamesh) met Atrahasis who survived the great flood.
