grin This video was basically shot at a Unilag party and I know some of the people in it.

(There are a few annoying adverts of his other songs at the beginning. You can skip those because I'm still going to post all his videos).

This was one of the biggest hits of 1990. The bassline is from "O My Commanding Wife".

Blakky - Rosie

A Nairalander was complaining that music videos today are filled with half naked girls and that this wasn't the case in the past.

Another Nairalander interjected and asked him if he didn't see Ibinabo Fiberesima in Blakky's c1990 music video or Cossy Orjiakor in Obesere's early 2000 music video. grin

This is one of my favourite intros to any Nigerian song.

(I'm posting this because I can't find Kissing Game by Blackky and Esse Agesse).

Blackky!

Yes girl.

Guess what? I'm gonna have your baby!

WHATTTT??

Blackky, me have a bang belly,
(Me not, me not, me not the one)
Doctor, says you are the daddy
(Ah do not listen to the dunce).

Look out for Ibinabo Fiberesima

Blackky - Bang Belly (1991).

I'm sorry this is what I was actually looking for and it is her most famous song.

(The audio quality is poor. The treble level is too high).

Roseline Ogunro - Free and Easy (1987).

Do you have this song sang in the late 90s like a wedding song where the father was handing over his daughter in marriage
Something like oh I can't bear to see you go......the time has come for you to go..... you look so beautiful

He is not Nigerian. That is Baby Girl by Nell Oliver from Benin Republic. He became famous for Wa Jo in the late 1980s or early 1990s and his second biggest hit was Baby Girl in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

These are some of the biggest Nigerian funk and pop songs of the 1970s, '80s and 1990s. You can add more songs to the list.

Yinusa Akinibosun (Professor Y.S.) later played the saxophone in Fela Anikulapo-Kuti's bands.
