toxtimmy: this are correct buh we are talking abt economy here and which currency is stronger not all what you listed.... When we get to that bridge we go talk abt that..... Buh someone with 2k in Nigeria will survive beta with his 2k than someone with 30 cedis.... What's the price of there fuel, what's there electricity tariff.... We are talking about economy for now is easy to survive in Nigeria than Ghana... the only currency I can boast of is Cefa which refuse to climb 700 cefa for long now.... imagine using 10 cedis to enter a bike from Ikorodu to Garage to Agric. That's like 800naira where on norms sef if things no gel u waka am... we neva even talk about 30cl coke dey sell for 5cedis+ that's like 400naira and we still buy Coke in Nigeria 35cl from 100 to 150 and 50cl like 170 to 200... 2 Likes |

MoneyMustBMade: $1 dollar is 11,000cedis Ghana arbitrarily remove 4 zeros from their currency in 2007, that currency is the more you look the less you see It's just like CBN waking up and printing 1000 naira as 1 naira, 500 as 50kobo etc without anything else or production backing it up Nigeria minimum wage now change from 37,000nairs to 37naira, goods of 10000 now sold for 10 naira, Naira to cedis exchange now 'fall' from 500cedis to 0.5cedis then they claim they have strong currency It's the highest level of self deception 4 Likes |

Obidient4life3: I know you're blinded by hate so you prefer taking bike for 1k to a distance wey no pass 5min to 10min distance.... Whereas in Nigeria that distance won't cost you more than 100naira to 200naira.... With 2k Naira you can still survive and rough it how many people in that same Ghana dey make ordinary 1k Ghs monthly.... You people will just go to Google and start getting jargons results and start translating that to real life experience.... Go Ghana first and experience the economy yourself... so like this now as Naira high pass Korean currency that means Nigerians life is better... 2 Likes |

Maybe we should all be telling our government to learn from this instead of making fun. Ghana is still a more secured place to live in. Their schools don't go on strikes every other month. Why we focus do much energy on distraction is beyond me. We should be striving to be the giant of Africa literarily. 2 Likes |

Like Nigeria, like Ghana, like most African countries. I am not even surprised. The problem with Ghana is , simply put...they are not a productive country. They are not earning enough in dollars to buffer their currency. Especially since their main export is cocoa, and other agro and mineral stuff, which have the problem we have with oil...their prices are too low to earn enough revenue for the country. What Ghana needs is a leader who would push them to being more productive...ie more industrial in nature. They apparently have good power supply, so that is not an issue. What they need is more people getting into industries that produce industrial goods that they can export...well well. At the end, they would earn more forex. And unlike cocoa, they would control the price. |

tyinfinity: Simple...he 1.Removes subsides on petrol and power. 2.Which attracts more investment in refinereis, and power plants. 3.Which then leads to industrial growth and development 4.Which in ten years time should lead to us exporting more industrial products...more revenue. A leader is not meant to be academically brilliant, he can be as dull as anything, but so long as he or she takes advice from people who knows what they are doing....ht or she can change things. (I am not Obidient by the way, nor do I support Buhari, Atiku or Tinubu) |
