I see ur grouse.. Ur grouse is that u are paid by Obiano and you see it as a duty to defend him. Ikpeazu did not inherit any good road in Aba, but he will leave office after rehabilitating more than 100 bad roads. Can u say the same of Obiano?Obiano should've performed more than Ikpeazu given the resources he was bequeted with by his predecessor. But people like you are clanish and mediocre to know what good governance s about. Ikpeazu did not inherit 75 Billion neither did he inherit any dollar savings. The conference center, the airport, and the stadium (mediocre stadium) as far as I am concerned is the only tangible thing he did and they can not be up to 10 Billion Naira. So where did he spend Anambra money on.

You are such a nauseating fellow. Firstly I am not paid by anyone, not Obiano, not Soludo, i am just a patriotic Anambra son that wants good governance as it has been embedded in Anambra. I am not here either to defend any individual but for good of Anambra.

Ok you said that Obi left 75b, why didn't the Orjis leave money for Ikpeazu? Is it Anambra's fault that they have good leaders as against Abia that has continued to produce mediocres and thieves as governors since 1999?

You said airport, ICC, stadium, etc are not more than10b? Have you seen why I always noted that you are here because of envy and mischief. If those projects were so easy and that cheap why didn't your governors in abia build it? You don't have roads in Abia and still don't have airport nor decent ICC, your governor is still owing workers almost 2yrs arrears despite the huge debt, what then did your governor achieve?

I can list the projects Obiano did but you cannot point to what Ikpeazu achieved in his wasted years in office. Of recent your governor has become a PA to a fellow governor while Abia continued to go down but you found nothing wrong with it.

Anambra is progressing and has continued to progress. You should channel the question of "where Abia money was spent " to all the governors that have ruled Abia state. You should be sober and ask pertinent questions, why is Abia with all its potential continued to be a failed state.

At least Anambra has number of tanglble projects they can trace to Obiano, like the spanking new international airport, the worldclass international convention centre, flyovers, bridges, roads, schools, hospitals, etc. No single government can do all the projects. Now Soludo will continue in other aspects governance, he won't buikd another airport nor another ICC , etc, Please list any reasonable project done by Abia leaders since 1999. There's almost nothing, but everyday you are here while abia is in ruins. All the time you waste here is enough for you to champion the campaign for Abia to have a good governor for once in the next poll, but you threw commonsense away to camp here everyday in your attempt to deceive yourself.

I don't want to attack your state like you always do here, but let commonsense reign in you. This is not the only igbo thread on nairaland. There's equally Abia thread somewhere, find time and contribute to the betterment of your state. It is a thing of shame that you Abia people have given up on your state, instead running around other states as moral compass. I will stop here for now.

Shut up your dirty mouth for once this pig. The so called 75 billion is not up to a year Anambra budget and if the things Obiano did are not up to 10 billion, why hasnt your useless governor done half of them or Abia state has not received up to 10 billion in 8 years? Foolish hateful thing that is just envious Obiano pushed Anambra 100 years ahead of his slum Abia state.. Again, Obiano has performed better than all past and future Abia state govs combined. Cry well. Anuofia.

The highlighted section summed it up. I have been reading the guy's posts here since he came with that new moniker. All his posts here are just about running Anambra down in a veiled attempt. The whole point is stirred by jealousy and how Anambra has leap frogged under Obiano with those mega projects that has placed it as more or less a major force to reckon with in Nigeria. It is quite clear that such could stir up envy amongst states around, but it is a wake up call for states still lagging behind to at least elect decent people to pilot their state

My earnest prayer is that your state Abia gets it right in the coming poll. Abia appears to be the worst hit in Nigeria as per governance, as they haven't for once since 1999 have a reprieve with a good leader. You can champion that on nairaland, hopefully people of Abia can key into it so that you guys can get it right for once.

TRUTH BE TOLD, Obiano actually moved Anambra forward very massively.
I am fervently praying for Soludo.

In Nigeria, some people just promise heaven and earth to be voted into office. Only to find out that they need to have an innovative plan for securing funds and applying them to developmental projects that they know will develop the state. You cannot successfully rule a state like Anambra if you are not prepared for what you will do, and realistic ways to fund them. You MUST also seek CHEAPER / COST EFFECTIVE ways of building infrastructure rather than squandering the little money on expensive contracts with foreign companies.

Unless a Governor first understands that Nigeria is poor and cannot develop on the available resources without a very smart way of using DIRECT LABOUR to take advantage of abundant cheap labor than paying for very expensive labor offered by foreign construction companies. That is the ONLY reason Dave Umahi performed wonders in Ebonyi state ~ DIRECT LABOUR! There is no single foreign construction company in Ebonyi state, yet it is the leading state in infrastructure provision in the entire southern Nigeria!

What you find is that many come into government "UNPREPARED" and then complain endlessly about why there is no money already waiting for them to merely spend. Instead of finding innovative ways to generate IGR.

Please, shut up for a minute. Obiano took Anambra back to almost where Obi met it. Obiano was busy rushing to complete an airport while the state roads collapsed, Anambra dropped in WAEC rating, Onicha got submerged in waste materials , Awka was abandoned, pensions and gratuity unpaid, our savings disappeared, our stocks and bonds liquidated. Nobody could say how much was spent to build the airport and ICC.

The people defending Obiano are mentally ffucked. Look at Nnewi road infrastructures, Onicha and Awka. If you are not ashamed of our state of infrastructures then you are an enemy.

Abia dirty pig. Have some shame for once. There's almost no good road in abia state but you are constantly here fooling yourself. Abia has remained the worst and most backward state in Nigeria but you aren't ashamed.

Abia is owing many months unpaid salaries despite huge debt and still yet suffering huge infrastructural deficit. The question is, where is Abia state money? Ikpeazu will soon handover but there's nothing to show except one substandard flyover that took him almost 8yrs to build.

Have small shame for once. You said those mega projects by Obiano cost mere 10b, why didn't Ikpeazu borrow just 10b and build same, at least he has borrowed over 100b but we cannot find anything he did with it. Who actually cursed abia state and why?

We can see the mega projects built by Obiano, where are the ones built by Ipkeazu? Ok, Obi left 75b, why didn't the Orjis leave money for their successors? That's the question you should be asking instead of constantly coming here to fool yourself.

With this attitude of yours not giving attention to your state, abia shall continue to be the worst and most backward state in Nigeria. You should be stoning your governor for failing your state and not coming here to spew nonsense. Ndi nzuzu

Abia state is cursed, even their indigenes rather vote for thieves than voting sane people to lead them

ANSMEDIA:

You can take a horse to a stream but you cannot force it to drink. Stop trying by half to deceive yourself about your origin, we know who you are and where you come from.

Have I said here that Abia has the best governor or the best govvernment?

Keep referencing ABia, I wonder the point u are trying to make. I am from Rivers not Abia.

Lol....Akiko

Even Nnamdi Kanu is from Biafra. You are not new because that's how you all go about denying your state.

That's why Nnamdi Kanu will open radio station and the only thing he will broadcast is Anambra state.

No single sense is left is Abia state. Even the governor na PA to fellow governor.

Ofcourse I don't reply the other imposters. Na the ANSMEDIA guy I only reply cause I thaught he should know better. ANyody that comes to promote Obiano here or offline should be given a good slap.

That's how you defeat the morons. You have to create a strategy. Ignore the insults but stay on the topic. It kills them when you ignore them and keep your comments clean and civil.

Peter Obi taught us these things....lol
