You did not make any sense to me, to be honest

The guy called her Mumu. That was the beginning of the tweet he showed. Address that one first

Secondly, Abike said "People like him". I am a Nigerian and i am not like him. I dont call people Mumu for no reason.

Theflint brought up a funny reason of stereotyping Nigerians and that was why I said that. It had nothing to do with the argument.

So yes, she is well within her rights to call him whatever she calls him.

If you cannot address the fact that he insulted her first, there is nothing about this case that would make sense to you

Abike Dabiri is not a faceless person on the internet like you and i. Based on what she has stood for over the years in terms of the image and treatment of Nigerians in the diaspora there are a thousand ways she could have insulted him (if she needed to) without alluding to the negative activities of a minority of Nigerians.

I also personally find it strange when i see public figures exchanging insults with faceless people on the internet.

She dragged people like him inside. The clause is right there on the tweet, but i trust you to ignore.

I am never ashamed of what she did. He got what he deserved.

So you can leave me with my opinion, or keep explaining

I said what i said. I supported what i supported
Now let’s go with your “People like him” defense.

Did people like him attack her first to deserve being dragged into her personal fight with that guy? smiley

If you want to live in denial, keep doing so.

The hustler class criminals are the ones that constitute the greatest public nuisance.

A hush puppy is a white collar criminal, spending money lavishly. Your hustler criminal is robbing people, selling drugs, destroying clubs.

And that is really the bulk of Nigerians going to places like India etal.

Just say u re referring to Igbo, we already know u are a tribal bigot

Sensible Tinubu core supporters here aren’t even defending that foolishness. They’re ignoring the topic.

Some Government officials on Twitter called her out.

APC supporters who are activist called her out too.

These are people who are even suppose to be blinded by sentiment, yet called her out for such post.

But someone here, is saying she gave an awesome reply because some foreign immigration bla bla bla sees us as drug pushers.

Make this election come and go abeg, make some of us come back to our senses reason the kind things wey we dey defend just to be correct.

No matter the way she picked, she would come out as uncouth

Maybe she should have kept quiet, but then we are all humans, and everybody has a threshold they can take

If he didn't insult her, this conversation won't have happened

There is a reason you have Senators and Representatives they are to bring your concerns to the FG and discuss it in Senate.

Obi was simply asked to condemn the violence of IPOB and ESN and he dodged teling us he did not found them

People that have been condemning BokoHaram and ISWAP are they the founders?

Its like me asking Segedinho condemn the killings by bandit and you respond I am not the founder?

Does that make sense

b4 u codemn any body ..u have to put urself in their position..

Ipob..Oduduwa ..Arewa represents something significant in their respective space

If Arewa is given everything and both oduduwa and Ipob are relegated to point zero...you can't control their reactions....

Oduduwa isn't blown up yet cos they seems to be observant and patience...

Ipob were quick to blow up cos they were the list in d pyramid of "WAZOBIA"..

one more time, thier response was/is disastrous and personally i don't like it but they were given reason to be extremely sad.....

Thier cry is to be free from d shackle of marginalization wch is visible to even d blind.

This is why many times as a public figure you keep your cool. She now gets to meet the guy in real life and finds out that he is squatting with his uncle in a single room apartment in Okokomaiko you know she will be the one that will be ashamed.

She should be mature enough to control her emotions as a seasoned politician and leader. As a public figure one can't start behaving like a tout because someone is rude online. And she definitely chose the wrong route to clap back in my opinion. Abike Dabiri that is always shedding tears on how Nigerians are stigmatized and maltreated abroad and has been appointed to lead a myriad of organizations to tackle that problem should not be the one to say such.

The response from Ruben Abati is no different from what you guys have been bringing in his defense. If only the person that asked that question knew Tinubu had answers crammed, even when it doesn't apply, he won't have bothered asking the question.

Like this summarizes it all, as a professional you should always act according to the ideals expected from your profession and when you do so, be sensible enough to learn from your mistakes and not double down on it and go to the extent of retweeting ethnic slurs.

It does not matter who brought it up. This is not a case of 2 market women quarrelling. Even if he brought it up she should not have taken the bait.

One of them possibly lives in a boy's quarters in Apongbon and the other is the current Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission and 3-time Chairperson of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs.

That guy calling her a mumu is wrong and should not be defended but her response considering her position is wrong as well and i don't think it should be defended.

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 3:23pm On Oct 18, 2022
I'm sure the guy that Abike Dabiri was responding to would go past the several thousands of persons responding to his tweet and not one person would go "hey this is the guy that had the spat with Abike Dabiri" but for Abike Dabiri that's not the case, the guy has nothing to lose and probably internet clout to gain.

Even on Nairaland sef, there's a certain level of anonymity we'd lose that it'd become unreasonable to say some of the things we say.

I will put you in the position of IPOB and ask when do you think its okay to kill people because of your agitations for whatever?

Do you know how many people get killed daily by these ESN and IPOB people?

You think everyone does not have a grievance in life? Is there anyone that does not have a grievance with somethng in life?
Why have you not gone out to kill people because you suffer from whatever

So when BokoHaram tells you their agitation and herdsmen tell theirs that should justify their murderous acts

Views are different

Obi has embraced dialogue with secessionist..

people would want out of d scene cos they were maligned and relegated to point 0.

kanu as well as Igboho are fighting for her people due to d indifferent nature of d FG towards them...

one went awol and could be called back by dialogue ...

this is another double standard we are talking about.

Esn and ipob have been causing violence, killing security, civilians and forcing people to stay at home on Mondays in south east. But that's okay, government should dialogue with them and not condemn their activities.

What do ipob and esn want? Biafran state. Because they are tired of Nigeria marginalizing them for some reason.

Now let's imagine shetima comes to south and someone asked him to condemn Boko Haram and then he refuses, telling everyone point blank that he cannot condemn the activities of groups he didn't create.
How are you going to react to it?

What do Boko Haram want? Islamic state. Because they are tired of western education being embraced by Nigerian state.
