An eyewitness, who doesn’t want his name in print, spoke with our correspondent and revealed that the protesters were para athletes, who were protesting against their exclusion from the national sports festival. He said, “It’s the para athletes who were protesting. They were not invited to the Sports festival but neighbouring countries were invited and they have been training.” In this video, policemen and their vehicles were seen on the scene but the other side heading to Ojuelegba. That's so unfair na... Why should they be ignored in a National Event but extending invitations to other countries?  Our sports ministry is always enmeshed in controversy. The police will always show why they are so uncivilized  , why shooting tear gas at the protesters?2 Likes |
