Reggaemich: I wont stop doing good. But will reduce and stop my interactions with anyone with an active participation on this vile site. I've met amazing people here. All my lands were acquired by a member of the forum. He even manages certain consultancy aspects of my business and many ways I won't be dealing with many people from this forum for life ! Sick minds When i was more younger, if i'm asked to choose between a teaching profession with 30 or 40k salary and nothing else and a ob prospect with 150k per month salary and life time pension from the fourth year, I would choose rightly. In this case, I can see the clear case where the delapidation of the nation has taken its toll on the minds of people that rationilism is completely lost Thanks for seeing the truth |

IamBlessed12:Terminator Well, I'd be speaking from a neutral point of view. I don't have time for long epistles today, but I'd say this. Its not easy being an employee and you will not begin to understand this until you become one. He claimed to provide food, shelter, etc We spoke months back. This man is actually outright with what you'd be getting into working as his employee at the farm, however, maybe OPs friend didn't find it funny later on People just wanna get this money so fast these days and settle the necessary bills. I think one of the main issues here is the PAY. Any other thing is as it goes. And I'm not even gonna lie, I didn't wanna go there cus of the little pay at first and the rare Internet (I no d carry Internet joke ) See ehn, its Farm Work, and he didn't promise it was gonna be easy. Whatever comments he made either good or bad is what anyone innhis position will do o, no reason am.we humans the quick ves too. Come to think of it; most of y'all wouldn't be willing to use your own money to do stuffs like this.

IamBlessed12:He had made his point, though the electricity and communication point doesn't hold water, but let's focus on how you treat your staff, do you treat them fairly or give them work above their pay or job description? And lastly you have been advertising since 2019, if it is true, are you advertising always because people lose motivation working for you? The points I mentioned is what I would love you to answer, you don't have to explain how you are doing hard things on the farm for people to eat or how you are finding your farm monthly with a particular amount so as to make people know your societal stature. You didn't answer the part on human resource part. Thank you 2 Likes 1 Share |

soundOsonic: Do you have proof that i treat a single person badly? Tell me, how can i mistreat my staffs when 80% of the time i provide directives and work remotely as i have to manage my ICT firm the bulk of the time? and my staffs work self-supervised Don;'t judge, the Bible had reasons for saying that from the onset. Show me a singular proof where i ever mistreated any single human being and i'll give you 100k Can I not build my projects and have clearer view of where i'm headed year-in year-out ? Where you were you are last year You don't know how to look into facts to discover hidden truths in mix of information, then better you don't talk |
Re: Nairalanders Never You Go For This Farm Job At Ibadan (link) by soundOsonic: 5:23pm On Oct 21, 2022 |
IamBlessed12:Calm down oga, I didn't accuse you of anything, I said he made his point, I didn't say he had a point. Calm down first, you didn't answer the questions, I am more concern with the point on how you treat your staff. I am not dumb to believe any accusations online. I mostly rely on fact. And note you can answer truthfully, it's not a must you have to be perfect in treating your staff, as your farm is growing and things are hard as it is in it's growing phase. Answer this questions, I will give you, not because of the accuser, but to check on your human resource managerial package. 1. Are they provided with adequate transportation by your farm to go to and fro from their hostel to your farm? (As the place is remote) 2. Though you feed them daily, is the food up to standard? (Note this is dependent on their cooking skill and the food stuffs available) 3. Is there any package for overtime? Do you divide the tasks for the day into bits and distribute them to your staff while still following ethical or moral compass? (Note: workload of a staff should be based on what an average human can do and also does the pay justify the workload?) 4. I read that see finish part, do you impose laws on your staffs on who to interact with? Do what they do outside work hours becomes your business? If it is, do you think that's controlling? 5. How do you motivate your staffs? How do you talk to them? Do you talk with them like kids, shout at them, abuse them? Do you have a clear system on how to reward hardworking staff (not only monetary aspect) and punish lazy staffs, without degrading their self worth? 6.Do you see your staffs as mere workers or asset of your company? It's okay to fail in some aspect, that's why there is always room to improve, someone who doesn't know business will expect you to be perfect just like that. So Mr. You can answer here or use this as an evaluation. 1 Like 1 Share |

Unlimitk:Crap? If all these are crap then sorry for you, you haven't been fortunate to have a good job. If you are a financial analyst you would know why what I am saying is valid for the progress of a business. Multinationals didn't become big by treating workers like trash, following this practice is what will grow your business and motivate workers to work and take the business like their own. I am talking from experience, I am taking my work as if I am the CEO because of how I am treated in my organization. It's not money that grows the organization alone, it's the workers. Mr iamblessed knows this, that's why he is putting job opportunity online, but if the accusations are true, he isn't doing it the right way, and yet there is room for improvement. I pray you work in an organization that treat people right and you will be surprised how you will be motivated to give up lots of things to make sure the organization succeed |

Unlimitk:Coincidentally I just received a weekend email from my boss, thanking me on my contribution for the week and hoping to here my suggestion on how to move the organization forward, though work had been hectic these past month, he keeps apologizing and reminding us to keep pushing. Do the boss see their employees as mere workers or asset? Giving your employees a future is part of the job of the boss, this will make them stay, and make them feel among, even though the workload is much, you will be motivated. Sell them dreams. 2 Likes |

You really are telling lies everywhere on nairaland. I am the son you are speaking about. Do not know your name, but I certainly would like to understand why you are posted fallacies. Everyone gets paid what they should at the company. We take the time to go over timesheets with every staff. We have 2 methods to ensure all hours are accounted for sign-in sheets and daily reports. I really don't know the tiv workers you are speaking of. The igede people whom stay on the farm are not our workers, we met them on the farm in dilapidated clay huts. They now live in structures that we built for them and they live rent-free. None of them work for us and never have ever paid us anything. The farm workers schedule is 7 am to 5pm with a 2 hour break, I have thousands of timesheets to prove what you saying is not true. They do not work with us into the night, they must work for someone else. We certainly work at night, because we are a factory. But that happens everywhere in the world. I am curious as to why you are wicked to people trying to grow this country. The factory is in a rural area because it is close to raw materials. You stayed 5 days, I don't know how wicked I or my father could be to you in those days, but based on what you have written I know you aren't seeking to tell the truth. May you find peace in this world. Unlimitk: |

I now think I understand what happened. Firstly, I still don’t who you are, but based on your recent statement, you left without notice. Just up and left and didn’t state your intention to leave, which you sign upon employment that you will do. It’s just 1 week notice, but you didn’t do it. Why? This means you did not do any close out in the office. Any company issued property was not returned by you. Any loans issued to you could not have been returned. But now you come online to say you haven’t been paid. It’s very simple process to say you are leaving we grant it and we pay you. If you would have performed close out you would have been paid. I have actually had to beg staff to submit the notice even after they were aware of the policy. Why do you believe it’s ok to leave a company without notice, especially after you have contractually agreed that you will? I’m not worried about your post, because I know you did not perform in good faith and are now coming here to voice any negative thing you can think of. Positive things come to positive people. Do the right thing in the future, build your skill, be open to learning, positive things will come to you. Also know there are repercussions to bad actions. Unlimitk: |

Kola, you were on cash payment. So when you quit without notice there wasn’t even a way to send funds. You didn’t work enough hours to earn overtime, once again you have lied. You showed up late or left early 2 out of the 5 days you worked for us. You are not serious man. Please don’t delete anything. Keep it all up so we can see the type of worker and person you are. Always open to discuss things. Unlimitk: |

That's how desperation made me work for one of these microfinance institutions owned by a so-called Deeper Life Pastor who believes your resignation letter must be signed by his BM before he releases your pay for that month as if it is modern day slavery. I intentionally wanted to see if u would even give me anything,in the end it's only argument u are having with me See I've forgotten about atman It's just a phase in my life,I'm happy u and I could have this talk.what I'm writing here is my real feelings, same with your workers, but I won't mention anything about them See it's all in the past Like I told u,If u want me to apologize, even if na 5k.pay me U are bigger than 5k.all the argument won't go anywhere. Don't try to be acting righteous here,I don't care who's wrong or right When I came,no loan was being given I won't gain anything by lying about what I did before leaving But the fact is I worked And it's in the record.now u are complaining about what I wrote And I told u for me to apologize and delete all those posts Pay me the amount U ended up arguing with me.lol U are a very funny person What's done has been done,I only wanted to apologize and keep shut and not try to argue with u again because it's all in the past But u are trying to feel like u are right and I am wrong that what u are doing is perfect Oga, nobody is perfect.i appreciate u as a Yoruba man trying to give back to the community But as a human being,we all can never be perfect It's up to u,to try to form Mr right,I don't care which of us Is good or bad Just pay me the amount and I call u to apologize and delete those posts U are bigger than arguing with someone who's not up to your level I also have a dream of opening a factory in my hometown So let's just forget all this. This is me trying to say since u talked to me yourself and we both have our opinion I'm trying to apologize If u like, continue saying u are perfect I don't care What's done is done When u have paid me let me know,so I can apologize and delete those posts Oh!and I wish u very successful year in your business |

It has a very human face. Give us 1 week notice and you are free to go. Thats how it works in the western world too. I know someone who has 2 months notice before they can leave. Its for the benefit of everyone. You are thinking only for yourself and thats fine. I know some people with 2 months notice and they abide by it. Its called a contractural agreement. Its clear you are not mature enough to be a man/woman of your word, and that has repercussions in life. Grow up, do right, work hard, I promise you it will pay off. If not in the company, it will in something else you are doing. yemi1504: |
