Chinaza Uchendu on target as Gyeongju maintain unbeaten run

Nigeria international Chinaza Uchendu was part of the goal scorers as her South Korean WK League Women side, Gyeongju secured a 0-2 away win against Changnyeong on Thursday.
The former Linkopings midfielder last scored for her side on June 13, 2022, and ended her five-match run of not finding the back of the net.
In the additional minutes of the first half, the 2019 Women’s World Cup participant for Nigeria gave her side the lead.
Another goal from Japanese midfielder, Tanaka Asuna in the additional minutes of the second half handed Gyeongju a 2-0 win.
Uchendu had scored four goals for Gyeongju in the league this season since she joined the South Korean side from the Swedish Allsvenskan side, Linkopings FC.
The win extended Gyeongju’s unbeaten run to three games, a streak that started with a 1- draw against Boeun Sangmu on August 25, 2022.
The team defeated Sejong Sportstoto 2-1 in its previous league encounter before the latest 0-2 victory over Changnyeong.
Gyeongju currently occupy the second position on the log as far as the South Korean WK League Women is concerned with 46 points after 20 games, three points behind leaders, Incheon Hyundai Steel.
Uchendu and her side will next face Seoul in their next domestic topflight encounter on October 27, 2022.

Just get it my bro the political aspect of soccer is sometimes mixed with business. The number of spectators and the sponsorship increases depending on the teams at play. The value of each team sometime is greater than a competition itself.
Just understand my point here .of a truth fifa would love to see that final Germany vs Spain and I explained this whole issue of one odds and other evens.
Hope u understand it all.
The permutations are clear

I understand the political-economic aspect, but if FIFA made features that ensured 2 European teams clashed at the Semis it will look more like they want a European team at the finals rather than wanting 2 European teams at the finals.

I do not really understand this. So Spain and Germany will face off but Fifa wants 2 Euro teams in the finals. How exactly did Fifa make it easy for Nigeria? they asked New Zealand and Chilee not to play to expectation? Or the referee was against USA?
I think say na only me reason this thing o, the whole epistle is not making sense to me, no offense, maybe the first paragraph was, but the rest na cap...

2023 FIFA Women's World Cup: Republic of Ireland Not Afraid Of Nigeria-Pauw

Manager of the Republic of Ireland Vera Pauw has said they are not scared of Nigeria's Super Falcons, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The draw for the 2023 Women's World Cup was released on Saturday in Aukland and Ireland were drawn in Group B alongside Nigeria, Canada and the host Australia.

Pauw said they were drawn against the top-ranked Nigeria side but they are ready to give their best.

" That opening game [versus Australia], wow – it’s fantastic. There’s a huge Irish community in Australia and I think a lot of people over there will face a bit of a dilemma over who they support in that one!

"It’s a bit of a shame that we're drawn in the toughest teams in Pot 4 in Nigeria, but we won’t fear anyone. It’s a tough group but a very exciting one", she said.

... With Waldrum as coach, we should be the one scared of all the other teams... How many matches has he won against non-African teams... That gives you what to expect from him.. The bad part is, he is just going to waist the prime years of some of of our finest players. Nff una weldone... #nonsense.

Even if Guardiola coach our girls with the way they are playing we will still have a slight chance of getting out of that group

So y'all should stop making it seem like once we have a good coach the world cup is ours already
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Samueltemi337(m): 4:49pm On Oct 25, 2022
Was it Waldrum that told Onumonu to miss a penalty at the WAFCON

or he also told both Ajibade and ayinde to commit silly fouls at the same WAFCON

If Guardiola coaches them then Super Falcons will win the world cup..

Ajibade and Oshoala are the best strikers in the world.

Look at Haaland in Man City then imagine having 2 Haalands in your team or having Lewandowski and Haaland in your team..

That's how strong the Super Falcons are...

O ye of little faith (or in this case, NO faith at all!).

The SF WILL take max pts off Ireland, and will get enough pts off Australia and Canada to qualify out of the group - and this is with Randy in charge.
You can take that to the bank!

Its typical of Nigerians to always want to blame someone else when things don't go the way they want or wish it to go.

It's Waldrum that picks the team..

It's Waldrum and the coaching staff that didn't tell them to mark softly..

As a footballer your coach will tell you not to mark softly then you will go into the pitch and commit those kind of fouls when you know you are one player down already

another joke

Since when did Ajibade become the best striker in the world

The point is Guardiola does not play Players out of position to accommodate another player and will pick and play goalscorers and teach them how to be a possession team that passes the ball.

Wow!
This has to be the most warped statement I have heard in years of following football smiley

Following YOUR sense of logic, Randy and his coaching crew MUST take credit for stifling the Moroccans for over an hour playing 2-women down and taking them to penalties, a feat NEVER accomplished in world women's football.
You will give him kudos for that, right?
