I have stopped using catheter since last Sunday with faith, hoping the fibroid has completely stop resting on my cervix.

The journey has not been easy but God has been faithful.

By God's grace it will be a double celebration for me come May, 2023. My birthday month and me seeing my first fruit .

To write birth story no easy o. But, it is what helped people like me as a first time mom in 2018 to know what to expect and all.

Sorry October and November Cappo for the delay, we had a lot on our hands. I will also quote my birth story of 2020 . I had no idea I was pregnant in early February, until March. I never planned early this year, but God has his own plans. Started Antenatal and really had no issues with morning sickness or anything. Just blood count and it is not the first time. Worked with my doctor and took my drugs, ate what was required and you won't believe few days before I gave birth, I was still anaemic according to my doctor.

On the day of delivery which I was absolutely not expecting, yet to even pack a pin, hurriedly did by 3.am and left for the hospital, since contractions won't let me breathe. The lab got my sample and my husband who is usually my donor was already on standby Incase we need blood. Miraculously, the results came up way above everyone's imagination. I saw one mama here who had same issues and said she kept squeezing ugu juice morning and night, which was also what I added to my routine things. Plus I never fail to acknowledge the place of prayers ( if catholic, the St Rita prayer) and the Supernatural birth delivery prayer book we shared on this group too.

The nurses started with checking the baby's beat and then mine and since I was already 5cm gone when I arrived the hospital.

I was just hitting the bed and gnashing my teeth anytime contractions hit me and in hours I fully got dilated and then my screaming down the building started. I always hate the part where they ask you not to scream and rather push..lol..I barely can think at that stage.

With two screaming & pushing, my son came out and the rest is history. Honestly, no two births are the same. I always wanted my daughter's birth experience because it was easier and faster than that of the boys. We are already back home and resting well. Thank you so much to everyone sharing their experiences and keeping the group running.

To everyone expecting birth story, apologies please! It is not easy to get a hold of our phones and just type immediately. I have been typing for two days now, Some like me were asked to rest properly after having some mild dizziness. But here we go!

It is actually my second baby, I had my son in 2018 December and I decreed with my mouth to be back by 2020 and God did it. I took in February and when first trimester hit me, for the first time I understood what morning sickness means.

For most of us who did not experience it at our first child, now I understand why those who do just can't relive the moment. The sickness was terrific, I kept on throwing up at every slight chance. I registered for antenatal at three months and everything was fine with me except for low pcv, which is not new to me honestly. I did everything to boost it, but each visit, it was still low.

At 8months, my husband was asked to donate blood, thankfully we were compatible. I did blood transfusion and was still doing my regular garden egg leaf, veggies and fruits. At 9momths, the doctor still insisting on blood transfusion, but on asking on the group about what I can do to boost my pcv, someone mentioned the leaf, hospital too far...funny my mom knows about the leaf and she requested we got it from the farm...I started taking it and amazingly it worked in two weeks.. doctor sef shock...

Fast forward to November, I was not in a hurry to Meet baby, because I had not finished shopping..I was too lazy to visit the market. I went to the market on the 10th and bought what I needed, on getting home..I knew in my mind, I had overworked myself. My body was telling on me. On the 13th midnight to 14th which is EDD I was not expecting to fall into labor, but when I could not sleep, I knew something was up but could not place it. I visited the restroom five times, I was purging..unlike my first child, I saw blood and mucous, this one was quite different. I had no idea until my waist started paining me, it would do that for minutes and then let me be. I quickly did Google search and found out it was contractions and I needed to time it. It started by 12 and I kept on managing it because I did not want to visit the hospital and be told it is false labour..
Omo, that thing hit me till 3.a.m...i just wore my clothes and told hubby let's go...we got to the hospital by 3.30a.m and the doctors were busy, they had a handful of two pregnant women in intense labour...he looked at me and said you don't look like you are in labor yet...and I was like because I am not shouting abii...they told me to hold on...once contractions hit me, I just jump on hubby and he rubs my back.. surprisingly I was not crying o...unlike my first child that I started crying from the house sef...by 5a.m they attended to me, because one of the patient has delivered while the other one was not dilating well enough...I was asked to come and lay down to be checked, but I said I needed to poo, but getting to the restroom again, I tried but couldn't..the nurse was like wait let me check you first... immediately I lay down ..plus the nurses o, doctor ooo they screamed n started running around to set drip and arrange my baby things...

I was just praying for an easy and painless delivery in my mind.. because my first labour ehh, with my low threshold of pain..I cried my eyes out. They fixed drip and that wicked pain hit me but surprisingly I was only shouting doc o doc o, help me....but no tears, he was like once it hits me I should push... without telling me sef, my body acted on its own o..started pushing the baby out like one very very hot hot urine...this time around, I did not say nurse I don't know how to push o...LoL. last last with three push, baby came out screaming with her tiny voice, I was later asked to cough n placenta came out...he stiched my little tear and then cleaned me up.

Then the rest they say is history. My surprise baby came out a girl. I am so thankful to God for answered prayers of a painless delivery, probably because for the first time I prayed that supernatural delivery book that one mama here shared with me. Omo, I can't believe I now have two kids o..even my mom is shocked and happy for me...lol because she fears for me with the way I hate drugs, injections and pain and my husband thinks I am a fish, but this time around, he hailed me that I was super strong for him.

So join me and thank God for blessing my family for the second time, and I pray the Lord who did same for me, will do same for all of us. Amen.

N.b Some things I learnt are, no two pregnancy are truly the same. Yes, experience matters too, I already know what each stage of labor is and I told myself to try and hold myself even tho it won't be easy..and then nothing prayers can not do, positive proclamation is very good, no matter what...I proclaimed easy, safe and painless delivery and God heard my worries and answered me.

I have never felt so energetic after child birth, I was so full of strength and I even started eating almost immediately and doing little things, which is not advisable, mumsy warned me to sleep and take plenty rest...thank God when I fainted, a doctor was close to quickly check up on me and do the needful. So please let us rest rest rest no matter how superwoman we feel...

Lastly I am signing out of team November 2020, the year of unbelievable things in the world, the Corona Year and the Lockdown order. But I am speaking positively to be back in another two years for my supernatural twins (Winks). May God answer us all and meet us at our point of need. Amen.

You need to inform your doctor, if serious then they need to push it inside during your delivery or if you can do sitz bath now just with warm water and preferably salt still fine.

Congratulations to those that just delivered their Lo's and safe delivery to the others in due time

So I recently learnt how to debone fresh herrings(sawa fish) and thought to share with you all

➡️ Firstly, gently descale your herrings, trim the tail and fins off

➡️ Then using a blunt knife cut across the head just beneath the gills but don't cut the bone off

That's why a blunt knife is better used.

Also cut round the tail end without cutting the bone off
NOTE: ( keeping the bone intact on both head and tail is very important)

➡️ Remove the guts

➡️ Now hold the head still attached and gently press along the spine of the fish, with the belly facing down.
keep pressing through the spine down to the tail until you feel the flesh of the fish being released from the bones within it.

➡️ Then locate that bone you didn't cut off at the head, hold the body of the fish tight and pull.

The long bone comes out beautifully with ease and the fish doesn't scatter
It takes just few minutes to neatly pull the long bone out if you pressed the spine well to release it.

The best way to enjoy this fish is to de-bone it then cook on low heat to soften any pin bone that didn't come out during de-bonning
I so much love this fish for it's great taste and oils

congratulations.Sex during pregnancy depends on your body system. If you feel you are comfortable with it, please go ahead but let oga be gentle with it .I didn't have sex throughout my first pregnancy as my body was totally against it.Congratulations once again.

it's now or never.
we lived together with my husband bil and his family. he is more like a FIL to us.
early this year, he felt sick and was in and out of the hospital. March 10th, he died and that was when I remembered my period. I thought it was due to stress because I was not trying. fast forward to April 17th, I lost my dad and also my uncle in May.
first trimester, I had eye problem, headache, fever, all sorts of sickness including excessive saliva but no vomiting.
second trimester, the only problem I had was still excessive saliva and my hatred for sugary things even if it's fruits.
by 27th weeks, I traveled for my dad and uncle burial in September, I spent more than 3 weeks before going back to my base. before I left to my base, DH said I should make sure I checked for ntutu ( those in the East knows what I'm talking about) and they removed 6 from my body.
problem started on Sunday the 2nd of October when I was strolling with my kids, I noticed that something was coming out from my body before you know it I was soaked. went home and called DH and explain everything to him. he asked his friend to take me to the hospital, on getting there, the doctor on call refused to pick his call, nobody to tend to me. the nurse on duty said she will keep me there till the next day. I refused and went home but DH sent me back to the hospital again where I was given dexamethasone and normal saline.
the doctor came the next day and demand I go for scan and it was reading 38 weeks against 33 weeks. the doctor said I don't know when I saw my menses last and placed me on bedrest since I was not dilating. I told him that I'm going home to rest since the next day is my anc.
on Tuesday, a friend said something like that happened to her and her mom helped her to hold the pregnancy till her due date. I followed her to her mom place. on getting there, I found out she is a prophetess. she said the person behind my problem is my MIL, she is a witch and bla bla bla, I should send her out of my home. she said lots of things. that she will help me but I have to stay with her and I will put to bed in her house. to cut long story short, I ran. my MIL that is like a mother to me when she was healthy is now a witch because she is suffering from dementia. I ran and didn't look back.
Wednesday the 5th, I decided to go to another hospital because the one I registered with is general hospital and they didn't have gynecologists. on getting to the hospital, one of the nurses convinced me to register with them, after pleading, I accept. their obstetrician checked me and said that I'm actually 33 weeks +. I complained that I was having mild construction she checked and said that she didn't feel any contractions but I'm already 2cm that she will place me on bed rest and drugs to manage it

I jejely carry myself and went home. on getting home, I took my bath and said let me rest small. my husband called and said they are looking for my Mil. I was feeling on and off pains and decide to go inside and prepare dinner. I could not, I was having this urge to poo, I will enter the toilet and come out. I called DH that I'm going back to the hospital to sleep there I can't bear the pains I'm passing through. he said I should meet him outside. I just changed my clothes and carry my small handbag ( for my mind, if they need anything he should come and get them at home), Immediately we reached the hospital, DH wanted to go and call the nurse to bring wheelchair but I was already behind him.
on getting there, I climbed the bed. the nurse was like, but we have already referred you to another hospital nah. I told her, nurse, I want to poo. she checked and screamed, that I should poo. with just a push, my baby was out screaming his lungs out weighing 2.3kg. no hospital bag, no baby clothing, no nothing. DH was just confused.
all in all I give God the glory. the drama too plenty.
swift delivery to all the waddling Mamma's, we shall all testify. to those that couldn't make it to the finishing line, God will give you double and affliction shall not rise again.
