Thanks for your advice sir. I also noticed he eats stones despite giving him vitamin b and e. Could it be because I don't give him bones as he is just 9weeks?
seunH:
Good morning sir, get amitraz to battle the mange. Then later fipronil spray to deal with the ticks. But ideally, I'll advice you go to the clinic for thorough examination

You can give him calcium supplements and biscuit bone, it's very okay

Hello vet. Please i noticed my 2 months old eskimo as been scratching his body lately and he didn't really have hair on his hair 2 weeks ago when I got him. So I called the vet and he said it was mange mites. So he injected the puppy twice and about 6mins after his skin started itching him and he went crazy with the scratching and a lot of hair came off. I was even scared so I had to call the doctor and he said it was the injection that was working, but he has reduced the scratching for now though. I want to ask if there is any other thing I can do please.

I'm so sorry for the delay sir, when your message came in, I was actually on a journey. Get Amitraz®, and follow the manufacturers instruction but please extra dilute it before bath, because it's like your pet is very sensitive. I'll be on standby incase of emergency

Thank you but is amitraz not dangerous for the puppy? He is just 2 months plus. I had a friend whose puppy died after administering Amitraz. I'm just scared because I have never used it before

The pup died due to toxicity of the medication, that's why I said you should extra dilute it. But to be on the safe side, I'll advise you adminster under the supervision of a professional. I'll be on standby

Good day Doc, my 8wks Magpie Harlequin suddenly started bouts of loud breathing and mucopurulent discharge crust in his eyes in the morning.
I suspected upper respiratory infection and placed him on 10mg ciproflox every morning. It's been 3days of therapy and the symptoms still persist (not so intense as before) and the discharge cleared. He's active, eats and poop healthy.

Good evening my chief, I'm so sorry about the above sir, but sir, I want to ask, what exactly is the problem?

He makes a wheeze-like sound when breathing. Can you send your WhatsApp no, so I can show you the video?

Good evening doc, Please my dog has been coughing for a while now
And also makes a sound like it's trying to throw up something.
Also has lack of appetite and has thrown up meals
What's your suggestion?
I'm a Pharmacist actually and I'm thinking Doxycycline should suffice but I thought I should seek your expert opinion
Thanks for your anticipated assistance
seunH:
Try and check sir

Good evening sir, I'm so sorry for the above condition. My candid advice, is for you to take her to the clinic for proper medical attention. Meanwhile, the doxycycline is good or better still Augumentin. But the best is still the clinic, I'll be on standby

Good afternoon sir, try and get this medication called Cypermetrin, apply it according to the manufacturers instruction. Then you can also get Fipronil® spray for prevention. I'll be on standby

Good afternoon sir, my 8 months mixed GSD hasn’t been eating for over two weeks. Took him to the vet and they gave him some injections and yet he’s still not eating. Most time he’ll just take a bite and that’s all. Day before yesterday night he was crying all through the night. Yesterday he didn’t eat anything apart from few fish head and bone.

And he’s very 100% active in playing and barks when he sees a stranger.

Please dr any help because because I’m really worried.

Good afternoon sir, and I want you to worry no more and put your mind at rest sir. Sir, what did the vet say was wrong? What other symptoms are you seeing sir? Then can you help me check the body hair for signs of lice and ticks? That would guide me to make my diagnosis. I'll be on standby

sir the vet didn’t tell me anything, no single tick on his body/hair. Though early this month I noticed that his hair were falling off and the vet told me that he’s replacing and growing into maturity. Though the fallen hairs aren’t even noticeable on his body because they’ve all been replaced.

How come? What the Vet did was wrong. I'll prescribe some multivitamins for you. Get vitamin C and B complex, B complex once a day and Vit C thrice a day, one tablet. These should stimulate appetite and serve his favorite meal too. Also be on the look out for parvo symptoms and update me asap once you observe. I'll be on standby
