It's not even the number but the competency.

You can't believe I went to hospital after paying close to #50 000 buying card, running tests and medicine. The so called Doctor was doing trial and error.

I had to call a relative who prescribed the exact medicine and I was relieved. Most of these private hospitals are after your money.

As they are so quick to write lab tests which may not even be relevant just to scam you.

The rate at which doctors are going abroad now will make herbal dealers and pastors to sell . If I were the MD, I would have fired your ass asap

If u see me work u will wonder how much I'm paid. In fact I work even in my dreams. No hyping...i consult for almost everyone. I am not praising myself..but I'm sure my type is not so much in d industry.
Patients have a way of getting at u but some of us have better ways of managing them.
The best way to understand d feelings of patients is to put urself in their shoes.
I tell nurses and doctors plus other health professionals...
If u have a dying relative whose life is dependent on d doctor whom u expect to perform miracle, how will I feel?
While growing up my mother had accident and was rushed to a hospital. The doctor was doing his thing the way it ought to be done professionally but my uncle (mum kid bro) who has lots of change in his pocket came and was telling d doctor he wasn't serious with his sis treatment...the doctor told him he was doing all he has to do and that d situation is under control.
My uncle landed d doctor a dirty slap and when my father tried to calm my in uncle..he (uncle) almost gave my dad too.
Though most patients and patient'srelatives tend to overreact but as a doctor u have to first understand that d profession is more of a calling rather than mere job and that will help u in understanding people and their temperament.
Just understand that a doctor just like a teacher can never be duly compensated and appreciated.
Whatever u Do is a service to humanity and God.
As for the oga that threatened the MD with resign, well, that's good and bad.
Till I hear from ur MD then I can say more. I have people working under me and I have people I work under. So I think so many things would have made and employee threaten his employer like that.
But oga, u are replaceable just like I am.

Are you minding them, anything to trend, I doubt he said that to his boss like he posted, he is just trying to massage his ego and trend. No doubt, Some private hospitals underpay their doctors and when the opportunity arises for better pay abroad or locally for the staff, they move.


It is obvious he is working for those kwe kwe hospital where the MD is underpaying his staffs and using them anyhow, but still, there are still many doctors to replace him if he overshoots his luck. I know hospitals that change doctors like water, japa is not for everyone.

Why will a patient start shouting at a dr when its not her turn,and to cap the insult,call his MD to report him?
If U try that with a nurse,they will make sure yiu are not attended to that day and even the MD cannot upturn that unless he will come from his office and attend to the patient himself.

Each hospital has an emergency unit. This doctor was most likely in the clinic.
If it was emergent, the triage team would have obviously been alerted and moved the said patient to the emergency.
What you did here was tactically avoid the fact that the patient called the MD to bypass a line.

Sincere Condolences to the person who lost a child. If that were looked further into, I’m almost certain it won’t be due to ‘attitude’.
