The ECO will hopefully be patient to search through and/or send an NSF if they haven't found one


Alternatively, if you haven't done your biometrics you can do a cover letter stating the location of certain documents so the ECO is aware of what catergory they are but that's just an option

Please, I've a peculiar situation and would appreciate your advice.

After paying my deposit with dollars, I also initiated Form A with GTB to pay part of my remaining fees.

The bank has "blocked" off the funds from my account since 18th October, but haven't debited me for Form A. The application still at Adb Supervisor stage.

Now, the problem is, the said amount isn't reflecting in my account when I downloaded my statement to be used for POF.

This will make my Pof to be short of 10k pounds. I've called and even visited the bank, but they said they can't do anything, until the Disbursement get to my turn, which could still be several weeks. I planned to go to their headquarters next week also.

Please, how do I apply for a Visa with this shortage?

1. Wait for the tuition to be remitted to the school so that your CAS is updated to show that you've paid the balance

2. Cancel the Form A and wait for the funds to be returned to your account.

1. I'm the Main applicant and my POF and husband's will be in my account. I hope they won't query where I got the money from cause it doesn't tally with what I currently earn. Cause my visit visa was refused in May because of funds they didn't understand.

2. My uncle currently lives in the UK, and while I was filling my visit visa in May, I selected the option of not having any family in the UK because I didn't find the option of uncle and it was one of the reasons I was refused. Now that I want to apply for a student visa, is it going to affect the application? or is there anything I can do to remedy it? I also plan to use priority service. I'll appreciate your responses. thanks.

I'm also thinking of asking the bank to print or screenshot the amount from their end and also give me a letter as evidence that the money is with them. Maybe that will be accepted for visa application.

I need your advice, i got unconditional offer from university of Hertfordshire in August and i paid my deposit in August as well and got school receipt for the payment. But i wasn't scheduled for pre-cas yet. I mailed and called the school, i was told to calm down they will get back to me. Just worried thou, cos my POF is running at the moment.

I don't know may be we have any university of Hertfordshire student in the house that have such challenges please.

As long as your account has not been debited, the amount is reflected in your statement as UNAVAILABLE BALANCE OR LIENED BALANCE. You should check the statement, it will show your cleared balance as Nxxxxxxx then your uncleared balance. But you will surely see all monies in your account as long as it has not been debited. Some bank will indicate this as LEDGER balance.

Yea, that should be the normal thing and what I expected before initiating it o. But it turned out that GTB has another way of doing theirs. They removed it, put it in their long list of Form A applications. It is not showing at all in my account and can only be accessed from their end, their staff showed me yesterday on his computer. I asked him if he could print it for me, he said no. But I am prepared to go to their head office next week. They must find a way somehow.

Tell your bank to give you a letter stating certain amount has been held from your account to pay your tuition fee. I believe it would be accepted by the ECO.

Thank you very much. That's what I will do when I go to their head office. The branch I'm dealing with has been so adamant. I believe they will be more reasonable at their head office.

Try University of Essex, Swansea University. I got unconditional offers from both with an official transcript.

Also, apply to as many other schools as possible with your certificate. You'll eventually get many offers to choose from. Not all Universities require transcripts.

You DO NOT need to legalize your credentials for study visa to the UK.

Someone already advised you to go to the Registry.

Another one, go back to your traditional council to get traditional marriage certificate.

You'll need to prove your marriage with official documents not just pictures of the ceremony.
