My cousin is confused.

Of recent he tried to get a workmate to accept his romantic gestures. She played hot and cold which gave him sleepless nights since he’s normally quick to hookup with cheap females or pay oloshos for service.

One day, out of frustration, he asked the girl to go out and see a movie with him — to which she responded with a hard “no, I am not interested.” He was destabilized and couldn’t function for a week, yet was fast to move on and enjoy life.

Fast forward a few months and he caught a girlfriend from the neighbourhood. He is free around women in the office and holds no grudge against his former love interest. One can tell he is very happy and satisfied in life.

All of a sudden, this girl developed affection for him, telling him repeatedly that he stopped coming her way. She went as far as inviting him to see a movie during the weekend. My cousin told her he was busy. He really was due to work deadlines. He gave her the option to reschedule. Three weeks have passed since. She’s back acting offish towards him.

Did he reject her? I don’t understand this woman’s behaviour.
