What Is Ngige's Problem? by DadaHammed: 7:12am On Nov 04, 2022 |
While Nigerians are trying to find a peaceful resolution to the FG Vs ASUU impasse, Ngige the minister of Labour seems to be more interested in adding fuel to fire. Why? Is it because his kids are no longer in the Universities? Would he have done that if his daughter had not graduated from the university? According to Punch newspaper, lecturers were paid half salaries for October on his orders, when they are still asking for their 8 months salaries and students have just resumed school and paid fresh rent and school fees. ASUU have now summoned an emergency meeting and the worst may happen again when students are just starting to breath fresh air. What kind of man is Ngige? Why trouble when everyone is seeking peace? Ngige, dem swear for you? 1 Like |

mrvitalis: Hian, tribe has entered ! Of all the things the guy said , I don't know how Igbo man came into it. You guys should take it easy , abeg. I am core Igbo but Ngige isn't diplomatic at all. Was Ngige not the one at the fore of negotiations ? Always disagreeing with ASUU and even taking it personal ? 2 Likes |

mrvitalis: Ngige objected paying them their full salaries, when the ministries and agencies talked about paying the lecturers. What is Ngige's mission, what does he gain from opposing ASUU rabidly. If his daughter were still in medical school and growing old there would he be this adamant with ASUU? No tribal card here. 1 Like |

To pay one for a work not done is corruption. If the lecturers want to get paid for doing nothing, they should join politics so we can be swearing for them! 1 Like |

What is wrong in blaming an igbo ? Do igbos not blame others mrvitalis: |

Sonyboom:Igbos blame their own leaders the most, infact they go a step further to physically ‘blame’ them like they did to ekweremadu. If you want your criticism to hold water atleast channel it to the right quarters. How can you leave the minister for education and be blaming the minister for labour? That’s how we keep blaming emiefele when we also have a finance minister and a president. Look at our oil sector but nobody blamed the minister in charge of that, who also happens to be the same buhari. |

Why no one is looking toward the incompetent president of Nigeria is beyond me. There is no way ngige or the mister of finance will take that step without approval from buhari. You think buhari care about education? He doesn't care about a thing other than cows. |

Op, Ngige is not minister of finance. Except you are saying she takes orders from him. You should query the education minister and finance minister not Ngige. |

Same igbos that now blame Tinubu for failure of Buhari, blamed Awo for the foolishness of Ojukwu n Azikwe, blame Fashola for finding a camera at tollgate but praise the oloriburuku Pandora kleptomaniac criminal for Ezu River genocide. Bro your overwise is full of nothing but foolishness. Grandmeister: |
