I hope they will not come and debunk this one again

Tinubu is known for lies and deceit

They have already debunked it. Pls read the story well. The govt said it's not aware of any harassment from agberos

Follow up to the Wednesday meeting between the Joint Drivers Welfare Association of Nigeria, representatives of the Lagos State Ministry of Transport & the Lagos Parks & Garages Management Committee.

He added that some of their members were also arrested and presently in Police Custody.

Onyebuchi Michael was arrested on Monday at Alafia, Orile Police Station. He was charged to Court and has been transferred to Onikan Zone 2.

Ibrahim Adisa and Felix were also arrested for joining the strike, perhaps protesting. They are presently at Area 'K' Police Station and efforts to release them have been futile.

Spineless fools...they did not strike when Tinubu sectioned off more than a third of Lagos state road network (including federal roads) and gave it to his brother to use for BRT bringing returns exclusively for them in Tinubu family.

Na now wey Buhari inflation tight them for throat na im dem begin get sense....cockroaches

You see the problem with this country?

First of all why were phones and cameras banned from the meeting if the government genuinely wants to address the issue. Is transparency and accountability not supposed to be a hallmark of a responsible government?

A whole LAGOS STATE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT claim they are not aware of the existence of agberos taxing bus drivers daily. How can government refer bus drivers to parks and management committee to resolve the issue? What exactly is the role or job of this committee? Is it an arm of government? What exactly are the collected dues used for? Is there a health insurance scheme for drivers? Is there any legal representation for drivers? Is there any car insurance policy for bus drivers? What exactly are the dues used for than to enrich the few at the expense of the many?

The Lagos State spokesman Mr Jags Abi Jagbajantis claims that this is an isolated incident in Badagry.

So with the volume of Lastma, police, kai, civil defence, NPF officials on Lagos roads daily no one is aware of these daily extortion activities running into billions daily?

Ok if they are not aware, what is the job of the journalists? Is investigative journalism no longer practised in Lagos State?

I respect the Lagos State governor Sanwaolu a lot. I know his government like all others isn't perfect but I will implore him to take the initiative and implement decisive steps to get rid of this menace one and for all.

Let this so called dues and taxes be harmonised and computerised such that bus drivers make their payments directly to the government or government appointed agents or agencies either at the bank or through their phones. Not through cash!!!!
