I don't think asking a guy out makes a lady cheap. As long as she doesn't pursue or chase him relentlessly, it's ok for a woman to make the first move and express her interest in a guy before he does. Guys always having to ask the girls out is just old fashioned. It's totally fine for a woman to make the first move if she wants to.
