Uefa Said players don’t get to play much national tournaments before they retire na so the nation league was born

Things were fine the way they were, at first it sounded good, more games means more entertainment for we the fans but turns out it burns out players faster
Where money is involved, sense comes second at times bro

No be for that same Europe they wanted to add Super League

But politics has been on the game from the beginning now

How do you think fifa president were chosen ?
By who righteous pass ?
It’s by who is ready to lick the a$S of the higher ups

No be today them they rig who go host na

But right now with this too much tournament complains
And Qatar restrictions against most western rules and regulations it’s kinda tough

If Qatar come out and say alright for the World Cup only you can do your g@y brohaha trust me you won’t hear anything like boycotting the World Cup again
That's their cup of tea.
All I know is Qatar shouldn't bend their rules for anyone.
Their country their rules.
They earned the right to host and their laws should be respected.

Iheanacho nko?

Just pathetic
Nacho has always been a backup even with his occasional brilliant performance so I'm not surprised. But Ndidi becoming a substitute is just strange... This is someone who will be forced to play even if he is 50% fit o

Did he got injured again after the international break? I'm not aware though. But then looking at how important he has been for Leceister, if he is half fit, he would surely starts. He has been back for a while now and he has not been starting.

he needs to be atleast 80-90% fit to start games

He just returned from the injury he had in the national team during the last international break

Premier league this, premier league that... championship here, championship there... Abeg rest!

Even the English that claim to invent football don't analyze the game like this.. why most English football be the yardstick to determine how good a player is?
There are tons of world class footballers who have never played in England but that doesn't take away their capability...

Rest please... It's become nauseating...
Sure, England is not the benchmark for football.

Onachu was the number 2 to Oshimen before his injuries and loss of form. He scored crucial goals for us. Benin republic away and another 2 against a team in Lagos. The transfer speculations got to his head in the latter part of last season.
He is back to his best, will get invite and score goals for us.
I bet most guys talking rubbish about Onachu here don't even watch him play at Genk.
Onuachu is not a Super Eagles striker. Let him score 100 hundred goals per season, he still won't rev in the GWG. He does not have the DNA of a SE striker.

Onuachu just like Richard Owubokiri and Mike Obiku of old days.

Exactly. Like Akpoborie. Any one who has watched Super Eagles for a long time knows that not every striker is meant to be an Eagle

This upcoming World cup might just turn out to be a nonsense tournament.

Son and Alphonso Davies might not be available for their national team for the tourney due to injury.

Fixing this world cup in mid season is just a foolish move...
It's going to be hell for the players going to the world cup in the middle of the hectic season. No rest.

Oh...I wanted to mention this too but I don't want it twisted into religion battle. The rules are too extreme for a tourney as big as the world cup IMO. The fanfares and fun are part of what make world cup interesting and sadly, we may not be having those this year.
The gay people are behaving like religious fanatics. What has football got to do with people's sexuality? Why must they make everything about their agenda? It's getting too much, this involvement of football with the politics of certain issues. Football was strictly about the game. That was what made it universally appealing. Now it is driven to identify with gay issues, the war in Ukraine.

FIFA planned it perfectly. But with uefa doing it’s best to oust fifa as the number football governing body what do you expect.

Uefa keeps pumping out different tournaments to render the players prone to injury

This is just a power tussle nothing more
O my. It's just too much. They spin so many competitions out of football, it gets exhausting. And it's all because of money, the god who is never satisfied

It's really not politics, it is western elitism. It's the west posturing that they know better than everyone else by claiming a moral high ground. While there's politics in football, football has never been about politics.

No matter what anyone thinks about Qatar's stance on homosexuality, it is your responsibility as a guest to respect their laws, if you can't then don't go.

It's like the world staging a protest on US gun laws, during a sporting event, of China staging a protest in the UK for deeming their abortion laws extreme (UK and most of Europe has more extreme abortion laws than China and North Korea).

They should go to Qatar and play football, then go back to their houses.
This is exactly the sentiment expressed by Putin in his latest speech. Europe is not the centerpiece of global values
