olokings: Since you don't know about it, I guess the answer is no. Canadian citizens and PRs have to pay duty or taxes on items they buy abroad. |

Any problem if one prints and sign on the necessary place relating to one’s profile among the part a, b & c ? Did ircc indicate one shouldn’t print out d family form if u are applying via online route ? I just wanna know cos I printed out my own family form and signed where necessary cos there’s a community on twitter that tweeps are saying it can printed out n sign bepositive11: |

Happy Sunday, House. Question for those already in Canada. How do you get experience letter from FRSC? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 6:25pm On Nov 06, 2022 |
Your driver's license shows date of first issue. Unless you did "oluwole" own and it shows that this is your first issue..lol Your license is valid for as long as you are a student. And should you want to convert to using the province's license, you simply take the tests, pass and go straight to unrestricted license issuance. PatrickOkunima: |

PPR Post! What the enemy meant for evvil, God turned it around for my good. Been busy with assignments because I am for fall resumption and resumed online Just getting myself guys! Been sleeping well since PPR... and busy with travel preparations too. I wanted to type this long post at once with every detailed information. Application Submitted: June 23 Biometrics: June 28 Upfront Medicals: July 15 Medical Passed: August 1 Eligibility: August 2 At this point, I prayerfully thought PPR would land August. It was emotionally tormenting as my resumption date was approaching. Wanted to deferr but I too stubborn. Anyways, it was because my school refunds if you are denied visa. I weighed my options so I pushed on. After several emails, I got several "Good day. We have high volumes, backlog... e.t.c." mails from Nrobi. Spouse medical passed: Sep 10 Recent email October 31 "Your application is currently in process and pending review by an officer" Approved: November 3 Duration:19 Weeks Application for 2; Myself and Spouse DOCS SUBMITTED Mpower Approved Loan Guaranteed deposit to CIBC: 10,000CAD MBS Business Bank Statement: 8 months inflow/outflow - around 200m; Balance: about 14m Personal Account: 8 months inflow/outflow - 198m/197m; Balance - around 1m Booked return flight ticket for spouse but couldn't meet travel date. (Just about 14% refunded because I didn't pay for a flexible plan) Later paid Tuition fees for the fall semester of the first year. (I didn't pay at first because my Mpower covers all) Not sure if it caused the delay. Mpower insists I must have Visa first before the disbursement of loan. Spouse Spouse work ID Spouse Academic and Professional Profile, Curriculum Vitae. Company: Business profile, CAC, Staff IDs, Website domain purchased, Plans for mobile app integration on return. Thank you @MikeDimeji for guiding me selflessly through all the steps without complaints. Thank you @Oluwanishore for your input when I was at the crossroad of choosing to use the new or old portal(I used GCkey/Old Portal). Thank you @CharitoJames for the prayers and good wishes. (Rooting for you. Please reapply when you can) @7COLORS your PPR is this week! Everyone waiting for PPR, I I pray God answers you speedingly. To everyone else who answered my questions and contribute to this thread always, thank you too. It was quite hard to fight the feeling of doubts and uncertainties. Your "life" could even feel its in a halt. Guys, if you feel these during your waiting time, keep on praying with your spouse and give thanks everyday. If you are single, please speak and pray with someone whom your mind is in sync with. Be it siblings, parents, friends or even visit this thread. Plus: My documents were not perfect as compared to some others on this thread. No two application is the same. Please do not be discouraged by the lots of documents you see on this thread. Submit what you can according to the visa application requirements, and don't "doctor" documents in any form. Not even receipts, invoices or whatever. Try to meet the minimum requirements then God will help you. 27 Likes |

Hello everyone, Please I need some advise. I'm recently divorced with a kid and I intend going for my studies without my child. I have full custody and a court order granting monthly upkeep from his dad. Do I need to include this information in my SOP? If yes, do I need to explain where he would live and who would take care of him while I am away in my SOP for study visa? I'd appreciate your kind responses. Thank you |

milkay: Yup, include all of what you mentioned in your SOP. Given that you have full custody, it'd help with the home ties. 3 Likes |
