Last I heard was that Salisu Yusuf used his yeye illiterate quota system attitude to chase him away from u23 eagles camp.

Let's hope peseiro invites him for our upcoming friendlies.
That was Tim Akinola (a DM) not Flo

Defensive awareness and sharpness is one of Awaziem's forte, and it is one of the qualities he has above the others.

What makes you think that Omeruo is not it right now? I want to know.

Regarding Balogun, is pace the first quality you consider in a CB.

I am yet to put a finger to the reason why Bassey started games ahead of Balogun at CB position in Rangers FC. I don't think it is for footballing reasons.

Bassey is a fullback, it is written all over his game, i mean his skills and decisions. As it stands, I will pick Awaziem, Balogun, Omeruo ahead of Bassey, they thrive better at CB.

So why has his career always been on a downward spiral ❓

Culminating in him playing in the backwaters of Europe in Croatia.

Iheanacho sef has at least given us one World class season. He has shown that, he is capable of performing when he is mentally prepared

He has had only one good season at Leicester city in 2020/21 he was among the top 14 goals scorers with 12 goals, that's very good but not World class.

He has returned to his mediocre self one again.

V.O. is now top of the goal scoring chart in Seria A, two good games including a hat trick and he is top dog. Excellent progession.

It's not easy but he has done it, the season is young can he keep it up.

Then that big move to , who knows Real, Barca, Man U. etc will come in , let's see.

i agreed with Chriskel on Calvin Bassey,as CB i can't bet on him,as LB cool but i want to see LB in class of Celestine Babayaro and Taiye Taiwo in GWG.

You don't select yourself for national team selection.

At best you may make private communicationd you wait to be approached.

Because it's not just a footballing decision Samson Siasia and Salisu have shown there is more to what we see.

If he isn’t presently our best CB then who is If dem born you well mention balogun, Akpoguma, ekong, awaziem or semi ajayi. Tell us who is presently our best CB…. The problem with Nigerians is that, we exaggerate our players ability and always believe that, there are world class players at our disposal

Yes on paper he is the best, young and playing for top club Ajax a plus for him but not yet convincing as CB.I would rather playing him as LB/LWB.I watched him closely in champions league,he need to step up if he wants to be a real CB,though with his age and good tutelage in Ajax, sky is the limit.

It’s not just on paper, he is presently our BEST CB if he isn’t, who is? I’m asking those that are saying that he isn’t our best CB option.. obviously, he needs to step up and improve on his performance but you must remember that, this is only his 3rd season since being a professional.

Super Eagles needs fullbacks that can cross the ball..

Bassey is better as LB for the Super Eagles..

Yes, we need good fullbacks but center backs is one of the team hugest deficiencies. At LB, zaidu might not be a good crosser but he is almost as good as Bassey in that LB position. Do you think it’s easy walking into Porto 11

Something tells me unai Emery may bring Samuel chukwueze to Aston villa. Most coaches love working with their former players.

Chukwueze wasn't really one of Emery's favorite, was he?

We can't make assumptions sir, what we can see right now as a fact is that Awaziem is in a backwater league and that is a fact!!! What led to that, how that happened are all excuses and assumptions no matter how compelling they might be (if any).
