You will still need to provide all the requirements. It's just that they take your file to the appropriate office without much delay, nothing more than that. It's like you just appreciate someone that render service for you

Use your debit card after selecting either Paystack or Saanapay.

I wat there last month for capturing and moreover the requirements are there in your print out acknowledgment copy. It is better you go with the requirements to avoid unnecessary payment because they will look for any loops hole to make you pay money

Go and do birth certificate with national population commission and you can easily reprint your Nim

I don't think there is any different because the ones they are printing now are even like Photocopy, the major thing is that it has your nim

Download NIMC app from Google Play store, install it and enter ur NIN number, then pay 1k using interswitch (ATM). Then download the pdf NIN and take it to cyber cafe for plastic ID card. Hope this helps

Your declaration of age from High Court is sufficient

Thanks for the update. I also have a scheduled appointment for capturing at abeokuta centre this week and I have few questions:

-Can you list out the necessary documents for me pls so I can prepare fully before the day? I'm a DIY applicant.

-As for guarantors form, can a family of 3 do guarantors for each other? Father, mother and a son.

-Is there a way one can FastTrack the production and collection process at abẹ́òkúta centre? Perhaps you got a contact by an officer or something like that.

-Son NIN is new, do I need to validate before he can use?

Mine was a renewal. So I did not need a guarantor. if you applied for NIN for a baby, it should be OK and not need validation but you can check if you are not sure. We took a list of the following documents to the center before the date of capturing.

1. Application form
2. Payment receipt
3. Appointment slip
4 . Expired Nigerian passport
5. NIN
6. Parent’s consent (for minors)
7. Birth certificate
8. Passport photographs.
The list might be a little different for a new passport application. This was a renewal.

No, I do not know anybody there. If you want to pay somebody money, that is up to you. I don’t think it makes a big difference other than encouraging bribery.

The DIY process is a very stressful one, the first question the officials ask is who is helping you, if u tell them online they will just ignore u

I captured on August 30th at festac, I went there on October 22nd, the officer told me me mine still has a long way to go that it’s not even close to ready.. I just zeroed my mind on collecting it even this year. So stressful and annoying

I just download d NIMC app now. I put my NIN but d response am getting is dat, I have to update my NIN coz d phone number I used to register then, am not longer using it. Plz how do update d NIN. D new number am using now, don’t how I will update it.
