Hello House, my friend deferred her admission and wants to pay sch fees using form A. what should he upload on trade portal to initiate form A.
Is it the admission deffered letter ? Or the first admission letter given?

Please how is your PPR request letter like? Did they specify a particular location/place for you to send your passport to? Or just the nearest VFS center?

The reason I'm asking is to confirm if one can collect the visa from another country

Usually this is the content of the letter

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on
your application. We require your passport to finalize processing your application.

Passport requirements

• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.

Your passport must be received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada within
30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.
Please ensure that a copy of this letter is included with your passport.

To find out where to send your passport, visit our website:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account/where-submit-passport.html

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.

I think you can submit it to the nearest to you. But it might cost you, it is usually better to submit to the VFS Office where you had your biometrics.

Mine was Abuja and it was at no cost

Ok. Thanks a lot for the information. I'm guessing you walked in to the VFS office at Abuja to submit and pick up yours, that's why it came at no cost.

I think one can submit to the nearest VFS whether or not it's the VFS office one did biometrics or the country one applied from. Thanks for your response, very much appreciated.

Congratulations as well and success all the way! ✌️

Hello everyone

I got refused this morning based on this reason “your purpose of visit to canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application”

I studied mass communication as an undergraduate course, working as an advert and promotions coordinator and I applied for marketing management. I already applied for my GCMS note but while I wait for it, I need someone to guide me on how to write a convincing reconsideration letter

I submitted on Oct 21st too and passports yet to be returned. I tried to track online but says it has been submitted to Canada Visa office. So i chatted VFS agents and they said they are yet to receive passports that were submitted Oct 21st back from the Embassy. Same thing when i sent a mail to enquire, the response was "your parcel is not ready for pickup"

I guess its a general challenge, could be the delay came from issues around the security alerts the US embassy put up sometimes ago. Maybe their embassy staff had to also leave or go into hiding temporarily during the security threats.

We can only wait on them, meanwhile flight tickets are rising. I am beginning to consider going ahead to purchase tickets as price has increased by over 800k for us since receiving PP request.

If PGWP is of essence to you as I suspect then flee from taking that school. Canada has many of such schools and unsuspecting students fall for it until they resume.

Having said that, you may actually still apply to another school while you are there and apply for study permit extension but you must have completed at least one semester in current school. No be waste of money be that?

I leave you to decide, I suspect you were attracted by the no application fee thing!

There's no IRCC format for email and webform enquiries.
You can choose to send same email message to all their offices or customize each mail before sending to their separate offices, it's really up to you.

Good luck

Almost everyone here is on telegram. I noticed you posted this on various telegram groups. However, it’s left for you to use your last energy and knowledge to draft a solid reconsideration letter showing relationships between your current work and the marketing management u applied for , how your mass com gave birth to your zeal in advertising and promoting. Thus promoting is a core part of marketing that gave rise to ur decision and your aim is to be at the management level of marketing and promotion.... maybe your SOP couldn’t sell your decision for marketing management now let your reconsideration letter be so catchy. All the best

Hi Olokings,

I'd like to know if you have any connection in the bank that can help reduce Form A processing time.

I also sent a mail request.

Thank you

I paid my fees in November 2021. I used paper application for my Form A. It was out in less than a month. I think it’s different now sometimes it takes 6weeks depending on the bank.

If that is your priority, then look for another school. Toronto School of Management doesn't have any program that eligible for PGWP.

Furthermore, Make sure any school you are interested in have an approved program for PGWP.

What I would say is that if you have other better college options you can go for it, but if you still want to go ahead with the school you must have it in the back of mind you will need to transfer to Niagara College after your program with them that if you have a plan of applying for a PGWP, because TSOM and Niagara College have like a partnership together,so it easy to transfer there with a 4000$ scholarship if you completed your Diploma at TSOM . After transferring to Niagara College successfully lthen you can apply for PGWP through Niagara College.

Transferring to Niagara College is another 2years program too, that 2years for Diploma at Toronto School Of Management then another 2years in Niagara College.

I’m waiting patiently for Winnipeg
